Infinite New Vindicators [2e] (OOC-full)
Re: Infinite New Vindicators [2e] (OOC-full)
Should I be waiting for Carom to act or am I OK to go now?

Okay, I've got a stat block for the campus, a list of available vehicles, names, classes taught and basic powers of the staff and a list of the (npc) freshmen and sophmores on the first page under the post for the academy. I'm still working on the junior and senior classes.

I'll write a post for Carom asap.Shock wrote:Should I be waiting for Carom to act or am I OK to go now?

If this keeps up most of the crew will be in combat before Merle would have to teleport them in. Which isn't a bad thing.
Also, I like Carom. He's a nice distraction that will hopefully draw fire away from the others ;~)

Re: Infinite New Vindicators [2e] (OOC-full)
Well, I'm going to start putting character sheets up for the students as I design them. I already know what everyone's basic powerset is geared toward and Rafael (Carom) has one thing he does well. He bounces. He isn't afraid of many physical impacts, so charging the tank is almost the only way he can get involved. he's got to make it hit him.
All six students in this segment have complete sheets, so I know exactly what they're all capable of. Amusingly, the student with the least spectacular looking powers was the most expensive. Julio (Obdurate) is actually the most costly of all the npc's and his power is to be a speedbump.

Thank you. I was trying to make the teaching staff an interesting mix of talents. Having an Esper who could sub for almost any of her fellow teachers seemed reasonable.Shock wrote:I love that! I hadn't intended it to be a complication for David, clothes or uniform.Let me know your preference and of course, if you choose it as a complication, edit it onto his character sheet. This goes for all my alt form characters (Prehistoric...I'm lookin' at you).
What's the distance to the tank?

David can make it in a single move from where he is.

On second thoughts I won't have it as a complication.Let me know your preference and of course, if you choose it as a complication, edit it onto his character sheet. This goes for all my alt form characters (Prehistoric...I'm lookin' at you).

As a side note, in our preparation round, did Jason make it into cover? It will influence my round if I didnt

Where is the tank relative to Miguel? Double move away, within one long jump of distance?
I just don't have a very clear image of the battlefield in my head.

@Nareik123- Yes. Do remember that total cover tends to be a two way street in most cases, but yes, he can find either partial or total cover, whichever you prefer.
@Arthur Eld- Terrainwise, envision yourself near the basse of a mountains, where the terrain has a variety of ridges and ripples. At the moment, the tank is over/around one such terrain feature and as such, you are invisible to it and it is invisible to you (essentially the mountain is providing everyone full cover). The mountain you are on is Lascan, the last active volcano bordering the eastern side of Salar De Altecama. Not far below you is a flat mountain valley, that just happens to be the largest salt flat in Chile'. Salar de Altecama is dotted with lakes and ponds, most quite shallow, of such high salt & mineral content that the water is would be poisonous for a person to drink and is caustic if touched with bare skin.
A double move or single leap will take Miguel to the top of the ridge hiding the tank from view.

HH, do my ego a favor and don't tell me the result would have been exactly the same without the crit ;}

Actually, David did disable one power in its combat array (the tearing off of the weapons node mentioned in the post), I'm just not telling you which power.Shock wrote:HH, do my ego a favor and don't tell me the result would have been exactly the same without the crit ;}
