"UPDATED!" isn't quite enough information on downl

Postby kipling » Thu Jul 08, 2004 12:35 pm

For items like the FAQ or the Errata, simply saying "UPDATED!" doesn't give quite enough information, since some of us are waiting for the second update.

Could it possibly be replaced with something like, "UPDATED 1/1/04!"?

Are there any plans to add a section on the main site for people to post custom made characters or adventures?

Ooh, I like the idea of adventures being available!

Since you did so well on following through on this, I hate to sound cranky--I'm not, I really appreciate the work you've done.

I do notice, however, that the errata placed on the board (in lovely, friendly HTML, thanks!) is from April 26. Not August. I can tell because it has no mention of the Penetrating Attack feat, which is apparently in the final errata.

(This is an old computer science problem: does updated refer to the content or the file?)

I think the HTML rocks. The PDF one was very pretty, but I can reformat the HTML trivially and fit it into my binder.

Oh, and unrelated: I'm still waiting for my copy of the Annual because the distributor sold out before my FLGS got its order in (doesn't help that they were switching distributors). So you're certainly doing stuff right. Hope it makes you lots of money.

Now! This is it!
Now is the time to choose!
Die and be free of pain or live and fight your sorrow!
Now is the time to shape your stories! Your fate is in your hands!

Hrm. Good point! I believe Steve's on vacation currently, so I'm sure we can get that penetrating attack errata in there once he's back. Because of how it's set up now, it would take me (or Steve, for that matter) about a minute to fix.
