How the heck does Palpatine profit from deregulating the banks/ Nationalizing them would make sense, but deregulating? Weird

And here i thought goofiest plot this season would be Darth Maul's brother. Now, I'm looking forward to it.

I have enjoyed it but that may simply be due to the fact that the episodes have had a good amount of action. The earlier episodes were bore fests that rehashed what we already had seen. I am hoping the finale to this arc is fun.
