Superhero board game interest

Postby Bombaatu » Thu Aug 15, 2013 11:45 am

Some friends and I are working to create a superhero board game. We'll be doing a KickStarter soon, and I'd like to know how many fellow Think Tankers would be interested in this.

Features: Cooperative play (players vs the game itself), 4-8 players, variable Scenarios for re-playability.

Honestly? Depends on the game, the rules.

If it's fun, I'll play it.

If it's a board game, do yourself a favor and use Heroclix sized playing pieces and allow some leeway for custom heroes in the rules.

Your market is already playing Heroclix, Heroscape, and Supersystem. If your game pieces can be used in those games, and their pieces in yours, you'll have people who are more likely to try it out, with the backup plan of using the miniatures in other games if they don't love it.

Zombicide is a great kickstarted Zombie minaitures game that stole some it's player base from All Things Zombie enthusiasts looking for miniatures.

Large quantities of thugs/crooks generic bad guy figures would be awesome.
