Geeked for GenCon Indy!

Postby mactavish » Wed Aug 18, 2004 4:55 pm

I am so wound up for GenCon! I can't wait to wrap my fingers around Foes of Freedom, talk to the Green Roninites, and play a little Mutants & Masterminds with a whole group of complete strangers! WOO HOO!

mactavish out.

P.S. Is anyone else going?

I'm in Chicago so the drive isn't too bad to Indy, but I can't make it. Hopefully, a friend of mine will pick up a copy of Foes of Freedom for me.

Alas, the only Gen Con I am likely to make is Gencon So Cal. Am having a minion pick up copies of Foes of Freedom however.

I'll be there. I live an equal distance between GenCon and Origins so it is a pretty good chance that I go to both each year.

Have some fear, I will be attending next year!

And Kit, I'll be planning a one-day raid on SoCal. So I'll see you there.

I haven't been since it left Milwaukee. The drive was better for me when it was there. Ah, but I do have fond memories of GenCon.

I was there. It was a great con (my first time at Gen Con). GR's booth was one of the first I visited. Yes, I have FoF now. Heehee! I also attended the M&M seminar and listened to Steve answer questions from the audience. It was cool.

Since returning home, I've been playing City of Heroes nonstop (I won a free copy at NCSoft's booth, where they gave out the game as prizes in daily trivia contests). I also have so many free comics and magazines and other crap, I'm surprised I got it all home on the plane. :)
