Anyone see it?
You must be proud, bold, pleasant, resolute,
And now and then stab, as occasion serves.

Is it a movie, or a tv show? Maybe a book? :?:

I saw it, it was pretty solid. Definitely a B, maybe B+. i enjoyed it a lot more then Dredd, which I also saw this week, and Dredd wasn't bad.

The thing I like the most is how it refuses to get too into the science or details of time travel. They basically say 'time travel exists, lets leave it at that.'

I'm going to go with Eld.

It wasn't a bad movie, but it wasn't mind blowing.
I wasn't bored, and I was entertained, so pretty good.

There's at least two things that bothered me, but they both fall into "because the movie wouldn't work if things didn't work like that" and didn't take away from the movie.
Wait, three, and that last one is a real head scratcher...

Rian Johnson, the Director, has a habit of doing that. He sets up a world that's slightly different from ours but it works and even though it can feel strange at times it's never really inconsistent in the movie so it gives his work this strangeness but not in a bad way. He was also the writer and director of The Brothers Bloom and Brick each of which also had Joseph Gordon Levitt in them, only briefly in The Brothers Bloom though.

I plan to go and see Looper tomorrow night. I've enjoyed Johnson's other movies so I'm hoping this one will be at the same quality.
