Kit is quite correct. Click the picture of Daniel Craig looking very stern.

Just got back. I think this was the perfect movie for the 50th Anniversary of Bond in film. Took some cues from the Dark Knight movies a little too closely, but overall, a great Bond movie. Emphasis on the Bond; it really captures so much of what's great about the character.

Went to see it this afternoon. Overall I enjoyed it and I was surprised at some things near the end of the film.

I loved it. It was James Bond Vs. The Joker.

I'm not usually a Bond fan, something about his movies just seem off to me, but from the moment he jumped onto the train, that he just tore a hole in, and then took a second to straighten his cuff links before soldiering on in his English Terminator way he had me. I really enjoyed this one

I rather liked it. The scale wasn't that of most Bond films, but it certainly delivered in all the right ways.
Forty six and two are just ahead of me.

I've never been a James Bond fan specifically because of the over the top humor and campiness, so when I saw Casino Royale I was amazed by how good it was.

Having said that, I didn't like Quantam of Solace as much. It just didn't have the same gusto. Something was missing.

Now we have Skyfall. It's a much smaller in scale movie than the average Bond film I think, but man does it deliver in action, story, and acting. Daniel Craig is still the predatory killing machine he's been in the past Bond movies, but this time he does seem to have real empathy and there are shades of the humor that the previous movies have had. There are even puns!

Javier Bardam is FANTASTIC as the villian. When I first saw him with the blond hair I thought he was going to be just too silly to fit in the Craig Bond world, but having seen the movie, his performance is electric, and I really dug how smart his character seemed, while at the same time being very crazy.

Overall, I loved Skyfall. It's much better than Quantam of Solace...maybe not quite as good as Casino Royale.

I saw this a couple of weeks back.

Is it the best Bond film ? No. Best Acted ? Certainly.

Javier Bardem has a whale of a time as the bad guy.

Lots of good London location footage for the attack on the committee meeting and the Tube chase. That is authentic as judged by someone whao has lived in London for over 25 years.

There are some good links to the past James Bond films with the car and Q's quip about exploding pens.

But they did catch me out with two things. The ending of the scene in the chapel and Eve.
