Supernatural CW TV show [SPOILERS]

Ok. someone SPOILER me on this

Short version: Bobby be dead... maybe.

Long(er) version: Bobby had to face his past, via his memories, including his fight with his wife about having kids just days before she was possessed and he had to kill her, his traumatic childhood, and his murder of his father to protect his mother. In the end he had to make a choice to move on (to the afterlife), or to fight to stay alive and be able to pass on something important to Sam & Dean. He woke in the ER, wrote something on Sam's hand, and then flatlined. Parting scene was a cliffhanger with us unsure if he moved on or not, or if he will survive, or not.

I'm sort of reminded of the time hop episode back in season 5 where Sam and Dean took the group photo. World saved, but now, everyone but them in that photo is dead/gone anyway.

So based off the first episode of the season, my theory is Dean killed Castiel in Purgatory. I have not seen the second episode yet, since hulu is a week behind the t.v. broadcast.

Also based on the first episode this season meta plot has a we are closing up shop feel to it (which yes should have been done at the end of season 5), with Crowley as the big bad.

My guess is that Castiel sacrificed himself so that Dean would escape.

In the week-before-last's ep, there was an auction of supernatural items (held by Plutus, god of wealth). One was Mjolnir. It was bought by a guy (he offered one of Ymir's fingers, was turned down, he threw in 5/8th of a virgin [holding up a bloody sack], offer accepted), and later the guy, Sam & Dean were facing down some demons. Mjolnir was knocked from guy's hands, Sam picked it up, smote demons, then asked the guy where he got 5/8th of a virgin from. Guy smiled and shrugged, and Sam smote him with Mjolnir. Next time we saw Sam, he was not holding the hammer, it was nowhere to be seen.

(The whole "only wielded by someone worthy" restriction on Mjolnir was created by Marvel comics; in the original myths, Mjolnir's just an exceptional weapon forged by dwarves and its handle was shortened by Loki.)

According to the Supernatural wiki, the guy who bought Mjolnir was Vili, one of Odin's brothers. Vili was portrayed by Alex Diakun.

Aside from the "Pagan gods are all bloody murderers/monsters" thing, the ep was also insulting when Crowley bid the Moon for another Tablet with The Word of God on it.

Dean: You're bidding the moon?
Crowley: Yeah, I claimed it for Hell. You think a man named "Buzz" gets to go into space without making a deal?

(This Tablet's the MacGuffin for the season: it's all about demons, including how to open gates to hell, and how to close them. All of them. Permanently.)

The hammer might be like the Troll hammer from Season 5 of Buffy, saved for the last fight of the season.

I remain convinced that this series actually ended with the conclusion of the Lucifer plotline in season 5.
