Re: Vigilance Press- METAs Issue 01 Is now on Sale!

Postby Shadowchaser » Mon Mar 18, 2013 9:24 am

As a plus, we now have the corrected cover ready for digital uploading, so I'll be uploading that with the Hero Lab files for METAs later today. Woo! Value adder for the win! :)

Again, no charge for people who have already bought the product, the files will appear as downloads in your library as already purchased, just go back to RPGNow and download the new zip file which will have the hero lab files in it. Feel free to grab the updated PDF, too, which has a typo or two fixed and the new cover.

Definitely something I am picking up. I have yet to get anything from Vigilance that I got the impression I would never use at some point.

Honestly, the most important thing I keep saying to my contributors is that I don't want our stuff to sit on a shelf. I want it to be something the GM or Players pull off the shelf and read over and over again. Even if you don't use it as-written, I want the readers to get a lot of repeat value out of going through the products we make. They should be well-loved, not in pristine condition. ;)

I'd have led with the hot alien space princess instead of Col Bridger, but that's just me. :D

Have I mentioned that I love Alex's art? Because yeah, it's awesome. :)

We just had a phone conversation talking about one of the creatures he's doing for this book. I had to say "Yeah, that one was too realistic. I want something more... 50's B-Movie." His response? "I'm drawing Moon-boots as we speak..."

I love working with this guy. :)

Rick Jones's cybernetic super-soldier book, "SixGun," is now up for sale as a Print on Demand item from CreateSpace! Amazon will catch up in a week or so, but you can get this book right now from SixGun for only $10.99! This great book for Mutants and Masterminds 3E has been a runaway hit on Drive-Thru RPG in PDF form, now you can get the dead tree version. Here's the link for the CreateSpace store page: https://www.createspace.com/4209616

Re: Strange Attractors now a Copper Pick!

Postby Shadowchaser » Mon Apr 08, 2013 11:56 pm

You demanded it, we delivered it: a Romance-themed PDF for Mutants and Masterminds. Okay, so it wasn't *quite* the "Hunks and Heartbreakers" people were asking for, tongue-in-cheekishly, but we wanted to deliver something you'd love as much as we do!

Since we posted it last year, Strange Attractors has been seducing more and more fans.

It's now a Copper Pick on RPGNow.com! Can you help us climb it to Silver? :)

PS- To celebrate, I'm dropping the price! It's now 2.99! :)

Not yet! Couple of reasons, but a big one was simply that we started this project before anything approaching the final manuscript for the Mecha gadget guide was in my hands. We wanted to wait and see what Green Ronin did with that, so we could stay "compatible" as much as possible. Now that we have it, there's a good chance we'll bring those guys back in an international team of heroes (or a villain version of the team) in another supplement, maybe even a mecha-focused supplement. We're already discussing possibilities. :)
