I have Black Chapter in my Amazon shopping cart. When I get paid Monday, I'll nab it.

Elements of Ruin Preview Art Gallery Now Open

Postby Shadowchaser » Tue Dec 11, 2012 7:46 am

So, I've been mentioning "Elements of Ruin" on the podcast for a while, but nobody's SEEN anything from it. UNTIL NOW.

It's a small gallery, but I'll be adding to it over time. I present to you...the Elements of Ruin Preview Gallery!

Now that is epic looking. I look forward to pawing through Black Chapter tomorrow. But that pic is great. I do get a very Kirby-esque vibe form it though.

I know I got a copy of the pdf. Good stuff, I just have to read it in depth now.

Thanks, Jameson! I really enjoyed it when Rick first turned it in. As we went forward, it was a treat to go back and ask him to add to it, because I knew I was going to get back some really fun stuff. Alex's artwork was just the icing on the cake for this project. :)

It's a good book, I will be buying the print version when it becomes available. Vigilance Press produces good stuff. I look forward to seeing what else they come out with. But I listen to the podcast so I kind of know. I need to get a regular group together at some point to pull a Krampus Nacht caper.

Uploading the print files tonight. Will take a week or so to get the proof back, but if it looks as good as I think it will, we should have the print on demand version up soon. :)

You guys do realize you're killing my bank account. On a more serious note, I've been really impressed with the quality of your work, and look forward to reading this.

Thanks for your business! :)

On a related note, you may notice this project didn't come with the normal list of Hero Lab files. That was due to to some last-minute shuffling of things where we wound up not having the Hero Lab icon on the cover. Once Ruben has a chance to restore the Hero Lab icon on the cover (part of the Hero Lab license agreement) we can update the file with the hero lab portfolios with the characters. Anyone who's purchased the file as it is will be able to freely download the hero lab files from their file library. I'll let y'all know when that gets updated. :)

I just wanted to say that I picked up Beacon City META: Bring on the Badguys, issue #1 today, and it looks fabulous! So far I have only skimmed it, but I am really liking what I am seeing here. These are the types of M&M products I have been hoping to see for some time! I also picked up the free Elements of Ruin: The Challengers PDF and found it intriguing - and it is making my grind my teeth in anticipation of more.

As I slowly work myself back into the M&M mindset it is nice to see that quality M&M products have not disappeared since 3E has launched. I will be buying more, as soon as I read all of this! :)

Thanks a bunch, Mamba! Your praise is high praise indeed! May I humbly suggest you check out the Black Chapter, Oktobermen Special Edition, and SixGun books? I'm really proud of the Due Vigilance series, we've put a lot of hard work into those books, trying to squeeze extra value into every corner we could find along the way.
