new M&M -focused BAMFcast

Steve Kenson stops by to talk about the Mutants & Masterminds 10 Year Anniversary Edition Kickstarter.

He also talks about the future of DCA, M&M Supernatural Handbook and ALSO announces a new (previously unconfirmed) Cosmic M&M source book. That's right - you heard it hear first!

I couldn't stop thinking about voice-casting the Freedom League after the podcast - here's what I got. Obviously, money was no object. ;-)

Captain Thunder - Bruce Campbell
Daedalus - Sean Connery
Siren - Gina Torres
Lady Liberty - Lynda Carter
Johnny Rocket - Neil Patrick Harris
Dr Metropolis - Brent Spiner
Raven - MIna-Na Wen
Bowman - Justin Hartley
Pseudo - Carl Lumbley
Star Knight - Jennifer Hale

Big thumbs-up on Connery for Daedalus and Campbell for Thunder. I'll have to mention those to Steve and see what he thinks. I agree with the rest of your casting choices too - I am tempted to sub in Katee Sackhoff for Star Knight though :)

the latest BAMFcast has some M&M content that I thought might be of interest to folks around here.

Chris McGlothlin stops by to talk about what's happening M&M in the near future and also touches on his role in the M&Mm 10th Anniversary kickstarter.

There's a bunch of other discussions on there as well:

Steve Kenson gives us the latest on the ICONS Great Power Kickstarter

Jason Tondro talks about his upcoming Arthur Lives! project for Fate Core. After the gaming talk - we all grouse about the state of comic books a bit.

You can check it out here

new BAMFcast with a fair amount of M&M dish

Steve Kenson and Chris McGlothlin of Green Ronin fame join Walt Robillard, Ade Smith and yours truly to talk about the Cosmic Supers sub-genre in comics and RPGs.

Chris and Steve give us some more info about the forthcoming Cosmic Handbook for Mutants and Masterminds. We also get updates on Great Powers and Stark City for ICONS and the fourth DC Adventures book. Mr Kenson also provides some useful GM advice for running a Cosmic Supers game.

SPOILERS: Steve gives us some previews of the content of the Cosmic Handbook - and this is a spoiler for the end of the Emerald Knights adventure path

DT Butchino of Xion Studios, Chris McGlothlin of Green Ronin and Joe Bardales of Fainting Goat join us as we geek out about comics and games. We talk about Captain America 2, the coolness of Batman '66 (and how there needs to be a licensed RPG for it now).

Of special interest to M&M fans: we discuss the Atlas of Earth Prime for M&M and the Freedom City Cosmic book. We also touch on Necessary Evil 2 for Savage Worlds, DT's Free Comic Book Day project and the Extreme Earth Kickstarter (for M&M, ICONS and a bunch o' other systems)

You can check out the madness here
