Great gaming group and great adventures

You know, I really enjoy our Saturday gaming days. It's not just about the adventure- which between the Harbingers campaign and the new Patriots campaign, are absolutely fantastic- but it's about the friendship and getting together with friends. This is one of the best gaming groups I've had in years.

Last night's game got a little strange, but it was GOOOOOOOOD. They found out that the UAS and the Nazis were being forced to deal more peacefully with each other because something just broke through the Iron Wall of India. China has been cut in half, and the entirety of Southeast Asia has been lost. The Nazis lost six divisions of Gross-panzers and ubermensch and everything else they had on the radioactive border with Russia. The UAS lost several divisions of armored walkers in China as something has shut down all communication into and out of everything east of the Russian Border in Eurasia.

Doctor Henry "Dakota" Jones IV has brought back several "mutated" species from his own explorations into Inda. These were revealed at the team's birthday party where the players were convinced that they were going to end up fighting giant mutated plants or something. Whitney is interested in becoming one of the doctor's archeology students. The after party was even better. The idea of metahuman teenagers playing spin the bottle got surreal.


The Nazis have agreed to send the heir apparent Adolph Hitler III to the UAS to negotiate a lasting peace and trade agreement. As part of the new attempt at peace the Germans have sent five young ubermensch to study at Metropolis U. Oddly enough their team is made up of four girls and one boy, while the Patriots are made up of four boys and one girl. Considering that the team found out that the Nazi ubermensch program was starting to falter with only 1/10 of the children born to them being viable, and only half of them being lower powered ubermensch, the ramifications of the teams' male to female balance is clear even to eighteen year olds- on both side.

They found out that people are disappearing in the lower levels of the underground city. They also discovered twelve "vat grown" meta-humans- six sets of twins- that were created by the radical terrorist William Ayers. However only half of that team was unstable, but were all "programmed" not to harm their siblings. So the "good" six set up the Patriots to take out the "bad" six.

Like I said, it's a good gaming group with a good set of adventures building.
