Very neat work Octavus!

Hijinx comes from a minigame I once saw in Dungeon #99/POLYHEDRON vol.158. It was a D&D version of mystery shows like Scooby Doo and Josie and The Pussycats . Once I get the actuall issue I'll write more about them.
Teen Dream is indeed the one from Champions, as is Polakios, To Save The World, Walking Gods and SNN(as most of it's content with some of my own ideas peppered in) and to an extent Wildstrikes(New Millenium). The Meridath come from a pdf called Alien Profiles and Mina came from the SAS Roll Call 3.
Oh and the Hercules that threw the party was 616(well techniquely the Marvel Adventures: Avengers ver. earth-20051)

Especially like the shout out to my setting.
Thank you for making such an interesting product to export to the greater omni-verse.

Yep there's only one Mojo, though I see the human ver. from Ultimate as a good go-between considering Mojo isn't really allowed out of the Mojoverse.(If my memories from the old X-cartoon and wiki is to be believed)

That's because, IIRC, Mojo is a living personification of death and decay, and whenever he enters a new world he begins to inadvertently corrupt it until the whole place it a cesshole like Mojoworld.

So basically, if Mojo set foot in any of the heroic earths, it would signal every mystic and nature based hero around and basically everyone would jump on him like the living cancer he is.

Heck, I was planning on making Mojo a technomagic using dark lord, using his television programs to infiltrate and conquer other worlds.

Bravo Ultra8!

Wonderful write-up of television shows both near and bizarre!

12 seasons of Star Trek!

Dang! That's a temptation even for the good guys!

Still, very humorous and well written!

All of it!

Re: Welcome to the "Working Title???"-verse (Omega)

Post by ultra8 » Mon Mar 29, 2010 9:33 pm

The Six Usurpers of Omega

During the mad titan's quest to unmake reality, Thanos used his Temporal Reverser to quite literally rewind time to it's begining. With no universe there would be no life and with no life, his true love Lady Death would finally have to acknowledge his love for her.
Even with a gathering of heroes to challenge him, nothing could stop his plan of proposing his undying love. Except the one thing he never counted on....Omega. Enraged at the mere thought that some lower-level being could achieve that which he could not and rob him of his destiny, Omega proceeded to tear into Thanos with a strength only matched by his fury. The 2 titans clashed with a fervor that shock the very stars, but in the end Thanos was still only flesh and blood compared to the pure entropic energy that was Omega.
Unwilling to lose when he was so close to his goals and before he could succumb to his lady's embrace he tore a hole in Omega's armor and plunged into it what would have been his engagement gift to her.
A perfectly formed Cosmic Cube.
With a final wish that Omega be forever plagued by his own greatest enemy, Omega was enveloped in a blinding flash of light and hurled into time where he relived each and every one of his failures before finally being dumped into the shattered remains of his throne room. Where he was accusted by another being wearing his face and weilding his own powers against him.
Since then he has been plagued, pestered, and challenged by beings who share is form but are twisted mirrors of his inner-being. These events have lead to the Terminus being even more chaotic and dangerous than it was before with entire worlds and mini-univeres within it being either reconstatuted or destroyed at random(sometimes constantly) and many of the inhabitants(displaced victim and Annihilist alike) taking advantage to further their own goals and agendas.

Kaiser-
"Victory!? It's only a victoty when all your enemies lie dead or broken at your feet."
Identical to Omega in almost every way, except color scheme and attitude. He's see's Omega's rule and tactics as solely dissapointing, why spend so much time trying to corrupt a world's champions when that time can be better spent laying siege to their defenses or positioning your troops at the most strategic areas for optimum devastion. While Omega is a king dedicated to conquering worlds and feeding them to the Doomcoil, Kaiser is a general set to conquer all that exists and then when all is done he'll feed only what's essential to the Doomcoil, after all why waste materials better suited to the war effort.

Grand O-
"Yes,yes Omega blah, blah that. But tell me what do you think of me."
Grand O exists so that all can bask in the glory that is his greatness. He conquers universes not to subjucate it's people and feed it to the Doomcoil, but to re-make it quite literally in his own image and then maybe, if it doesnt quite match the perfection that is his image, then feed it to the Doomcoil.
He feels that the multiverse needs to match his state of perfection and has no qualms about leveling whole worlds and then chiseling them till they reflect his greatness, or surgically remodeling the populace, though the latter has proven more difficult than he expected. Why he would love nothing better than to sculpt the Doomcoil into a bust of himself, and would do it to if not for that pesky ordinary vulgar fool Omega.
And yes all of his terrordrones have mirror like armor or are just plane mirrors tapped to them so he can always view himself.

Anhillation-
"GRRRR"
Anhilation is quite simply destruction made flesh. While Omega wishes to plunge the multiverse into total entrhopy and rule the remains, Anhilation seeks nothing short of total oblivion to all that he sees. He doesn't lead troops or has ties to a faction, even if he did they would just be destroyed anyway.
He is pure rage and power, so much so that even the others have been forced to join forces to stem him off, often exiling him to the far reachs of the Terminus until his enievetable return.

Kid Omega-
"Dude why waste time better spent having fun."
Youthfull and filled with unbridelled rebellion, Kid Omega is interested in having fun and blowing stuff up as opposed to conquering and subjucating the populace. He could care little about feeding the Doomcoil or bringing about Entrophy to the multiverse, all he cares about is the the here and now and literally lives for the moment. If life is indeed a party, then why should it ever need to end or why would you want it to is his motto.
More of an anarchist than a master villian, really to only things that put him on the villian's list are his acts of wanton destruction and his plans to control or neutralize time so that it never moves forward, essentially freezing it in place so that the grand party that is life never has to end(regardless of the negative effects it would bring to everyone else).

Omega Centurion-
"Seist and desist vile nave!"
The stuat defender of right and protector of City X, the Omega Centurion is the most hated and reviled(at least by Omega) of Omega's copies. Respected by the denizens of the Terminus, beloved by the populace of the City of X, and feared by the Annhilists and other tyrants that call the Terminus home.
Like a fractured fun house mirror the Omega Centurion seems to be a twisted amalgamation of Omega and his most hated foe Centurion, complete with helmet, cape, and gold-plated Omega emblem. A typical day for him is flying around the Terminus either helping people or relocating them to the safety of X the living City (sometimes weither they want to or not) then returning to Nihilhor to "Sock" Omega in the face and destroy whatever fleet he's making or whatever scheme he's planning.

Alpha
"The ending leads only to new beginings."
Probably the only copy Omega fears most, Alpha is the quintessential anti-thesis to Omega in all his power and extremes. Alpha is capable of reviving or resurrecting any thing he touches from the decessed masses that make up the majority of Nihilhor's surface to the devastated chunks of planetary debris that make up the Warpwold. Why in their intial first meeting he almost restored Omega to his true flesh and blood form.
Why Omega is all about the end, Alpha is all about beginings. In fact Alpha greatest goal is to un-make the Doomcoil and remake all the universes that have contributed to it's creation in one great Big Bang restarting the Terminus and turning it into Initio.
Unfortunately like his erst while counterpart once this plan succeeds he plan's on repeating the process on the rest of the multiverse, so they to can all have a fresh start.

Of all the various characters to get a "Reign of Superman" like event, I never would have thought of Omega for that. It's hilarious and I honestly approve of it. Alpha is a great character who reminds me of Krona (one of the inspirations for Omega's backstory) in that he's just as big a threat to the Multiverse as he was when he first started the event that destroyed darn near everything in the cosmos.

I'm sorry I haven't been able to comment on much recently.

Re: Welcome to the "Working Title?"-verse (Bay City)

Post by ultra8 » Sat Apr 03, 2010 11:30 pm

Today on Cities of the World we introduce....

Bay City
the City in the Bay

Located in scenic San Francisco Bay, Bay city is a cultural, scientific and tourist hot spot. Appearing in the area during the week of January after an electrical storm as what many would call a living after-image or ghost city before slowly becoming corporeal. The shock of the bay residents was nothing compared to that of the city's inhabitants who quite simply panicked to the thought that they were in the middle of the ocean as opposed to dry land and a few riots and superhuman misunderstandings broke out before calm could be restored.
Now Bay city or the City in the Bay or the Other San Francisco as it's called by local locals, sits there with the eyes of the world upon it as this earth's greastest minds and personalities try to discover how to send it's population of 808,977 people home or exploit them for their own needs.

History
Originally from another earth not much different from our own but where it is currently the year 1990, the president is a woman named Margaret Loesch, the Beatles never broke up, metahumans are called parnormals and instead of a Day of the Destroyer the world is currently rebuilding from an event called the Proprietor War. A 3 month battle which saw the earth's heroes and some villians try to stop/solve the mysteries of several mountain-sized domes and energy geysers that riddled the globe.
Like Millenium City, it was rebuilt from the remains of what once was their version of the San Francisco Bay Area after it was destroyed in an earthquake caused in the wake of a pittched battle between the mysterious being called the Proprietor and their world's version of Dr. Destroyer near the end of the war. These and other similarities have also lead to the city being called the West Coast Millenium City by some tourists.
An active hub for publicity and cutting edge technology(well 90's era stuff, though their space/hover craft and robotics are much more advanced, some say too advanced)home to the likes of Harmon Industries, PanStar, Paragon Studios, Odyssey Research Institute, Henderson International and the insidious Crey Industries and Raven Corporation. Several government agencies like GUARD, PRIMUS and SAT work in tandem to keep the city safe from the likes of Malta group, Raven, the Scions of Kaine, the Ultimatum and their version of VIPER.
Due to the alternate nature of the citizens and the fact that some of them have doubles on this earth, tourism from and via BayCity is strictly monitored by both PRIMUS and AEGIS. All residents are required to carry on them special ID passes and be injected with a tracking microchip if they wish to leave the area, though Daedalus and Dr. Atom have been working on a special sensor that tracks the background radiation unique to Bay City goers. Which will come in handy when they need to round up all the villians and heroes who left the city before they could be properly outfitted or were unknown straglers.
The need for food and other resources has opened the city to trade and business from several companies and organizations, though many are finding difficulties in gaining access or operating sucessfully within the city's limits. For instance SpartCorp finds it difficult to be taken seriously(particularly when the name Kenneth Kane is mentioned) and like the heroes of Crusader Earth, the heroes and organizations of Bay City don't trust Raven Enterprises to well. Due to some fears by the populace that the city may disappear at any moment many businesses (that can afford it) communicate to the outside world via H.E.R.B.I.E. (Humanoid Experimental Robot, B-type, Integrated Electronics) drones which are especially usefull in negotiations with foreign powers.
Many Baysiders wish to see what trends and happenings have come with this strange alternate history and what they should look forward too when they get back, a bit that both sides aren't sure whether it's a good idea or not.
Despite these difficulties many Bay goers are interested in the purported future that is the mainland while the mainland is interested in this displaced past with it inventions that shouldn't exist.

Though there isn't a Freedom League or Patriots on their earth some of their alterego's do exist in some form or other.
 Noah Stein is a DJ on the Walkin' & Rockin' radio show on Radio KYGO
 Cassie Summers is an athorney for the Bay City Hall of Justice
 Jack Washington Jr. plays rugby for Manchester United
 Daedalus unfortunately is a power-mad immortal villian bent on conquest
 Dr. Atom is the name of a puppet professor on a PBS kids show.
 SpartaCorp is the name of a famous sex toy manufacture

and though there is no James Moriarty IV or Death Mask there is a Kenneth Kane.
The self proclaimed "King of Porno" Former pornstar, magazine and talkshow tycoon and all around party boy, the closest he has to a criminal record is the time he got wasted and streaked the Superbowl(which he is still banned from).
Splotch: So yer telling me your version of him is like some hodge podge of Ron Jeremy and Larry Flynn!?
Defender(m) : Yeah pretty much.. Actuallty we do have a Ron Jeremy. In fact I'm pretty sure there's at least one or two movies where they both co-starred.
Steel Commando:(Laughing) Oh this is priceless.
Notable distinations:

Treasure Island
Former base of the superhero team the Guardians and current base of the Champions. A small city onto itself; It contains an airport for both private and public use, a small GUARD installation, a soundstage for Starlight Media, a museum/trophy room dedicated to local heroes, a small number of appartment complexes for support crews(though in recent years it has managed to attract several wealthy influencers, turing portions of it into a mini Beverly Hills) and a small outpost for the scientific think tank Strata.

Image
Raven Tower
Former base for the aristocratic criminal organization Raven and current base for the once powerfull but now dwindling weapons developers/tech gurus Raven corporation. The tower is one of the largest structures in the city and also the one in need of the most repair(due to the holes and damage sustained in a private war fought between Raven's upper management which attracted local authorities and heroes), famous for it's most notable feature a huge closed wing raven that crowns the top of the tower and the several raven shaped gargoyles that letter every edge of the building.(not one alike the other)

The Arcadian Academy
The premier training institute for young paranormals. Run by preeminent businessman Donald Henderson(former leader of the Guardians, and former member of the Champions) who uses his resources to provide a safe haven and training center for those who need them. Built into 2 structures, the main building located downtown that acts as the public head quarters and administration and a hidden facility built underneath and old manor house located in the heart of the city. Acesseble via hidden entrances found in any Henderson businesses that cater to kids(movie houses, arcades, juice bars, ect.) the manor is a boarding facility that handles lodging and gives the students access to training rooms and offers recreational activites.

The Pit
A mystical gateway to somewhere nasty that seems to go on forever. Located in McLaren Park lies a massive hole, many people have tried to explore it, but not many have ever come back. The most famous case being that of Capt. Flash and the 2 Odyssey investigators that 1st attemped to probe it's depths and have never returned.
Things sometimes come out of the pit though(never anything good) and it is believed to be where a ritual was performed back in the 40's to summon something called the Spyre.

The Caverns
A massive web of man-made tunnels that make there way underneath Westbrook.
There are indications of Ancient Civilizations in the writings on the walls which has driven and coaxed many scholars to their surroundings. The Wildstriker squatters don't like trespassers so there hasn't been too much time to study the runes. Also those who wander to far into the caverns aren't seen again, so the Wildstrikers tend stay close to the core areas/caverns.
Broken into 3 areas/levels:
The upper level called the Tops or Core where the shanty towns and arenas of the Wildstrikers lie.
The middle/secondary level called the Outskirts where the more monsterous paranormals and hermits live and what acts as a barrier or boundary to...
The Depths the uncharted/unexplored levels and the part of the caverns where not even the Wildstrikers fear to tread.

Castle Demorphant
The home of Ex-Black Paladin Mattias Casimir. This castle was imported stone by stone from it's native Germany. Mattias has been declared free of the Black Paladin's influence but in reality he merely found another host for the disgraced knight's spirit to inhabit while he seeks further power.
Currently it's been host to several lavish parties and had it's grounds open to charitable affairs and public/private tours.
Think Hearst Castle except evil.

I wouldn't mind seeing your thought's on the reworkings I did to the FoWH history or the Conspiracies and Unitrol Wars topics.

The Omegas were fun to make, I wanted to use both Ultimate Thanos and regular Thanos(particularly after I saw him in some eps. of the 90's Silver Surfer) and figured Omega wouldn't want someone stealing his schtick, and it looked like a good in-between point for their story ie Thanos > Omega> U.Thanos. Plus I wanted to give Omega some big reasons for not leaving his kingdom anytime soon (and of course put him through the ringer in the process  ).

Though the FoWH are aware of it's existence, they aren't aware that Taurus is the one running it. They suspect Grant Conglomerates and Delphic Industries have ties to it or are running it and are keeping an eye on the heads of both business. Unfortunately the Labyrinth has interwined itself with all the other businesses of the world so well that dismantling it without destroying the economy in the process would take years to accomplish. There are far to many legitamate businesses trapped in this web to risk an all out assult and even if they did there's still a chance the mastermind could get away to start things all over again.
At present their only options are to steer heroes in the right direction and target those with definate involvement, while continuing to dig deeper.
Part of the problem of the Labyrinth is that it's also an organization that is inherently self-defeating. The Illuminati is an organization that, if Taurus is removed from the game, will pretty much unravel without a second's hesitation. Taurus is keeping it together by keeping his hooves in every pie but if he was taken out for even a year then it's questionable how much would honestly remain of his empire when he returned.
Ultra8 wrote:The Inniative
The Initiative is a conspiracy of a small number of influential people. Each lends his or her own resources to the group. In truth, the Initiative has little in the way of formal structure, simply agreements between its members to assist each other to achieve their common goals.
Their orignal agenda was to contain, limit, or eliminate the effects of paranormals on the world. However in time that has shifted and changed to the point where they are more interested in keeping or maintaining their power and insuring that no other force counters or influences their own. As many of the new members fit into or profit from the niche that superpowers onced filled this change in perspective makes sense.
In the year 20XX, I imagine that the Initiative will evolve into LOGOS and the Knights for a Pure Mankind will become their catspaws under the name Blue Cosmos. Suffice to say, the superhuman separitism movement will have achieved a lot of results by then and have entire nations in satellites above the planet.

Nice Gundam Wing references.
Ultra8 wrote:Kenneth Kane is surprisingly not a member for 3 reasons:
1) Most of the members have either met or worked with him in real life and can't stomach the idea of doing so again.
2) His ego alone would totally destroy any chance of them keeping control.
3)George Timmons is a member of their more benevolent Hidden Circle and has done everything in his power to keep him out of the loop.
One of the reasons why Kenneth Kane disdains the Labyrinth I imagine. He doesn't want to work behind the throne, but on it. One could argue this is a mistake, but on the other hand, he's also achieved some pretty big results by being on the throne anyway.

However, in Taurus' defense, I wonder how much influence he secretly exerts over PHANTOM.
Ultra8 wrote:Enigma
Probably the most paranoid human on earth, but then you would be too if everytime you went searching for answers to something someone tried to kill you. Enigma is the Fox Mulder of the superhuman world always on the quest for the secrets best hidden and forgotten, he usually knows he's own the right track when the 1st or 2nd attempt on his life kicks in.
He knows the FoWH exists but doesn't know to what extent. In return for his silence and non-interference they supply him with whatever information he needs regarding his cases. The FoWH also use him as a conspiracy magnet/hunter and occasionally nudge him in the right direction hoping he'll distract their enemies and flush out even more of their hidden adversaries.
The Inniative tries to steer him away from their activaties and towards the Labyrinth and vice versa. Though both the Inner Circle and it's Hidden Circle have been mulling over giving him his own seat at their table and by doing so getting him out of their hair and/or putting his skills to their use.
I love the JLU Question.

During the Renaissance there was a plot by a group of devils to take over the world in a very unortodox manner. They would subvert control not by making faustian deals and using proxies but by openly dealing with the various powerful royal courts of the world in order to gain access to diplomatic channels and insinuate themselves into earthly politics until the devils wer nothing more than just another set of courtiers quarreling for the monarchy's favor. Then when the time was right strike and place themselves upon the thrones of Europe and conquer the world.
Unsurprisingly, their most successful lawyers now working in Los Angeles. You can see their Wolf, Ram, and Hart symbols.

:)

Their New York headquarters has a demon wearing the body of Al Pachino, or someone very much looking like him.

I really enjoyed the write-up of the Unitrol wars and I actually imagined something like this going on in Africa. Basically, all the various groups backing dictators in search of global domination. Your use of Ortanga is especially appreciated as he's just the kind of Idi Amin-esque monster that I like. General Amn Batini, the recently assassinated dictator of Zulan in Heroic Earth, was a very similiar character.

(Though he was a Middle Eastern dictator, not an African one)

Each wears a mask or uniform bearing the flag or coat-of-arms for their country/sponsor.
Some agents are in charge of investigating the sightings of the Psychotic Seven, while others are in charge of stoping the flow of Slorenian bio-weapons and Targoth troopers out of the Baltics.
I really like these guys as well, SOMEONE needs to be hunting down the Psychotic Seven. I'm rather surprised they haven't chosen to get involved themselves. I also like the fact that they wear uniforms based on the flags of their country.

Made up of heroes from each member nation they are called on to safeguard the world against threats that the Patriots or Freedom League are incapable or unnable to do so, but also show that the world at large can work together in times of crisis.
As always with the Global Guardians, they're also annoyed they don't get the same respect as other heroes.

Nice bit with Vanguard as well, it's good to see relief agencies involved in all of this.

A very popular soap opera that features the adventures and travails of fictional super team Justice Force Omega. Tens of thousands of "TSTW' fans tune in every day to watch the proceedings or gather for the annual T-Fest"s".
A key feature of TSTW's success is, much like the George Reeves' superhero show, most of the action is off-screen to nonexistent.
Ultra8 wrote:Viva Foxbat
An annual televised attemp by Foxbat to steal and or do something, originally started as "Foxbat steals Christmas" and "Foxbat robs the Dodgers".
The show is routinely interrupted by people like Catwoman, Magpie, or other semi-harmless supervillains. Foxbat is fully aware of this and milks the ratings for all they're worth.
Ultra8 wrote:Hunting with the Kravens
A reality television show which chronicles Sergei Kravinoff's operations as he hunts down dangerous animals and acts as a bounty hunter hunting down a mix of criminals and supervillians with nothing but his bare hands and superior hunting tactics. Joined by his son's Vladimir, Alyosha, and Ned, his daughter Ana, his current fianc'ee Dr. Mariah Crawford and his pet tracking lion Gulyadkin they stalk prey both human and otherwise across the globe.
Most notable for being the only one's to get exclusive footage of the infamous sewer monster Chud for the first time.(though it would escape afterwards)
The show was briefly canceled over the humiliating defeat that he suffered at Splotch's hands when he was under the impression he was an extradimensional parasite. Splotch, being slightly more savvy than 15 year old Peter Parker, then realized Kraven was going to be a pain in the ass until he got his dignity back and arranged for him to beat him quite publicly. Kraven, realizing what Splotch was doing, allowed him to take a dive and released him on air.

Part of the fun of the Kraven family is more their bickering than any real hunts from Sergei. The fact he's such an outrageously bad parent is played for humor value.
Ultra8 wrote:The Elite
SpartaCorp's star reality show starring it's handpicked team of superheroes(called misfits by it's critics and viewers ). While the marketing comitee would say everyone watches the Elite for their excellant public appeal and trendiness, in reality everyone just tunes in to see who gets knocked off their high horse and which one is unlucky enough to bite it in a fight with Grond. Quite a few suits were unsure if it would make it past it's first episode let alone it's 2nd season....they're still unsure given how bad the year's been, 2 MIA's, 1 attempted rape, 3 OD's, 2 in traction, 5 hospitalized/dismembered, 4 DWI and 7 convicted from charges ranging from theft to canibalisim.

So far they been mugged by Gravitar, beaten to a pulp by both Lobo and Dirty Wolf, had their carrier vandalized by the Tag Team and of course the Pièce de résistance: Mightyman going all Poltergiest right in the middle of a fight and rampaging all down NY to Empire City.
On the upside their ratings have trippled for that one escapade.
Unfortunately, while the Elite primary team is pretty much a collection of the worst behaving superheroes in the world, the franchise itself is only just taking off. To understand just what a nightmare Kenneth Kane unleashed on the world, take a look at these:

* Who Wants to Marry a Superhero?: Self-explanatory.

* Who Wants to Marry a Supervillain?: Ditto, though the supervillains in question are usually more of the Kite-Man variety than Two-Face.

* The Real Heroes: People vaguely associated with superheroes, has been, and never-was live together in a superhero mansion provided for by SpartaCorp.

* The Elite: Junior Justice: 16-18 year olds selected to be sidekicks to the Elite. Thankfully, the only thing they usually have to cover up is the underage sex, drugs, and alcohol. Oh and a few
mind control attempts mixed with eating disorders.

* Joe Superhero: A man is presented as a British legacy superhero to twelve lucky young women who get to be his sidekick. Cancelled after Jack and Jane Union came back to their mansion and objected to the entire thing.

* The Sidekick: Disturbingly, Mighty Man is back from therapy and hosting this one.

* The Elite: Hawaii: A branch team, God help us all.
Ultra8 wrote:Hosted by resident metahuman groupie Mina King, the show details Mina's attempts to meet every hero and villian on the planet. Whether shaking hands with Sentinel or getting a picture taken with the Dark Undermaster, Mina and her film crew will be there to cover it or attempt it. Originally just a private diary which eventually expanded to a blog, then a small network travel show, Traveling with Mina is now close to being a global sucess with a large network deal.
Peculiarly, very few incidents have actually happened. Part of it has to do with the fact that Mina is about as inoffensive as a real life Dora the Explorer. No one is quite sure HOW she got into the Dark undermaster's dimension but he was too flumoxed to object to her meeting with him. Everyone is pretty certain that her meeting with Mister Hoppy in the Inferno had to be a joke because they're not quite sure how she got there, let alone without the Lords of Nightmare noticing.

Shes considering taking it galactic.

Created as a public relations showcase by Nuware to show off it's DNA/nanotech wetware capabilities. All the "heroes" on the team is comprised largely of celebrities known for making a difference through charitable work and highly trained athletes given a short term version of wetware that will give them limited access(at least 1 year) to superpowers. To those who can survive one year of service, they will recieve 1 milllion dollars donated to the charity of their choosing and a percentage of the royalities to do with as they see fit.
Nice.

A private supervillian social club/casino run by the mysterious hostess Roulette. Known for it's televised battles by willing and unwilling participants, live coverage of local villians schemes, and provider of drugs, fencing, entertainment, and relaxation.
As long as you follow the rules any villian can access their vices to their heart or wallets content, break the rules however....we'll it's best not said.
I like to think Roulette actually owns most of the Metahuman fighting arenas in the world and actually has a huge fortune from DVDs to fighting circuits. She's also probably responsible for most of the Metawrestling gimmicks. It's just the actual death bouts are more just for her own private clientelle.

I really enjoy the retro-nature of Bay City. A city of the 1990s, ten years in the past. The whole bit with Kenneth Kane, Porn Mogul had me laughing out loud. I've got to say you're incredibly imaginative and salute your efforts.

Bravo.

Thank you.

Expect a Valleywood entry after I finish Bay City.

Kenneth Kane- Porn King just came to me in the middle of making that entry. He's a nice enough guy to everyone else but put both of them in the same room and I expect you'll notice the pulsing vein on regular Kane's forehead.

Next up is the Heroes and Villians that tagged along with the city and some that set up shop after it appeared.
I warn you now, I May have not been completely sane when I started making some of these.

Nice Gundam Wing references.
I recognize Blue Cosmos, so I'm guessing LOGOS is from Gundam Seed Destiny(? I haven't seen that one yet)

So do I.
Surprisingly Enigma is just the Paragons ver. of JLU Question but with more guns and less morals.
I'm tempted to add him to the verse just for the twisted team-ups they would bring.

Their New York headquarters has a demon wearing the body of Al Pachino, or someone very much looking like him.
Took me a while but I finally got the Devil's Advocate ref., 1st thing that came to mind was demonic Scar Face
.....may use that one for later.
Found these guys in the Encyclopedia of Demons and Devils from Fast Forward Games, over 100 demons and devils based from myth and legend from all over the world. I found at least 2 that would make great rogues for Ymir.

(Though he was a Middle Eastern dictator, not an African one)
.
Glad you like it. I had one villian that knocks over countries for a living and a villian that runs a country, both have it coming, then it clicked. Also drew inspiration from the MightyDavidson Mighty-verse thread.
Charles Phipps wrote: I really like these guys as well, SOMEONE needs to be hunting down the Psychotic Seven. I'm rather surprised they haven't chosen to get involved themselves. I also like the fact that they wear uniforms based on the flags of their country.
These guys are still a bit of a work in progress(operations wise). Some were under the assumption they'd be hunting the Psychotic Seven, while others joined because they were told they'd be getting 1st crack at Jack Union, some are only under orders to seek and capture/destroy Jack and/or Jane while others were told simply they were being transfered to MI-13/MI-6/MI-18 for "special operations".
The chief reason they haven't entered the war proper is that their handlers would prefer that they keep the Unitrol/Slorenia cue from spilling out of the Baltics and into the rest of Northern Europe.

Would you believe this group came out of simply trying to find the definetion of Union-Jack at wiki and seeing all the different flag designs.

Maybee... You'll have to ask the guy in charge of the Corpse Corps operation Van Argiano.

Charles Phipps wrote: As always with the Global Guardians, they're also annoyed they don't get the same respect as other heroes.

Nice bit with Vanguard as well, it's good to see relief agencies involved in all of this.
Vanguard was a lot trickier to use, since I already had some Un teams in this little event, but then I re-read their bio and realized a superpowered relief force would probably stand a better chance of survival in a super warzone.

Like your DC Hero channel, kinda makes sense from a living in the DCU stand point. 8)
