What's an Arayan? I've heard of Nazi theories about the Aryan race, but never of Arayans.

Got inspired by the Avengers animated panel at Comic-con, so I humbly present...

Prisons

Image
This was the best picture I could find that matched it's cool appearence in the cartoon.
The Cube
A prison for super-powered beings and extraterrestrials. Its location is undisclosed and only high-ranking AEGIS-agents know of its existence. Most of the interior is contained in an area called the Escher zone a time distorting, gravity negating, constantly moving landscape that requires special eye surgery and equipment to navigate it.
The technology and design are based off 3 prior facilities created by Project Icarus scientists- the 1st 2 are unknown to the public but were known for using random people as guinea pigs to test their traps and theories, while the 3rd was a hyper-evolving model that would have absorbed the entirety of the Mid-west before collapsing in on itself in a violent emplosion if not for the efforts of the Patriots and the Guard.
Little is known about the actual reason for the previous cubes other than the 3rd was an experiment in quantum teleportation and that everyone including the scientists and staff for the original projects are all dead or missing(and prosumed dead). It is rumored the entire chief staff was personally killed by an influential general once he found out they had used his god daughter in one of the experiments but whether that is true remains to be seen.
Due to an experiment involving the Anhilation zone, the cube is also home to a few Mithran criminals and monsters like Baern, Gloria, the Mentor and Aldar the bone eater.

The Roc and the Egg
Formerly the headquarters of the defunct superhuman monitoring agency Aladdin, the Roc is currently under the supervision of the DEO as their acting base of operations. The Roc is located in the Nevada desert near the small town of Iron Ridge.
Within the bowels of the base lies the Egg a massive capsule-like cell made of interlocked plates and crafted out of the hardest metals on Earth. All for one single prisoner the villianous man-eating dimensional vampire Rune the Conqueror.
Director Bones has on many occassions requested the permanent sealing of the Egg but his superiors have denied his requests in favor of sending research teams to figure out the nature of the creatures regenerative powers.

Project Pegasus
"Potential Energy Group/Alternate Sources/United States"
Project: Pegasus was originally intended to research alternative (and unusual) forms of energy, but is also used as a prison for super-powered individuals with energy-based powers. The Project's Compound, like most of its facilities, is situated deep underground inside a mountain in the Adirondack Mountain range in New York.
Headed by Dr. Myron Wilburn, it has quickly found itself at the center of much unwanted attention when the structure came to house a Cosmic Control Rod, a Nth Projector, the Serpent Crown and several other artifacts of great power or mysterious origin.
The compound also holds the likes of Blackout, Klaw, Solaar, and Nuklo, but is also protected by the heroic Blue Shield, Darkhawk, Quasar, Captain Atom, Captain Val of Lor and the Aquarian.

Image
Negative Zone Prison Alpha
An automated facility, designed by Reed Richards and built by Raven Enterprises and Atom Inc., that is located in the Negative Zone. The inmates called the facility "Fantasy Island" and "Wonderland", probably because prisoners who are unable to manipulate technology to their own ends are connected to virtual reality systems.
The prison was an extremely secure, clean facility with cells custom-designed for each inhabitant. However, the prison was later over run by the Negative Zone ruler Blaastar and has been refitted into a small city.

Image
The Vault
The United States Maximum Security Installation for the Incarceration of Superhuman Criminals., known as The Vault, is a an underground three-level prison facility for super-human criminals (predominantly supervillains) located over 40 feet (12 m) below ground level in the Rocky Mountain range in Colorado.
The Vault was specifically designed and built to cope with the increasing number of convicted criminals whose superhuman powers and abilities made them difficult to imprison in conventional facilities. For years prior to the Vault's construction, superhuman criminals sentenced to serve time were sent to ordinary prisons and jails and usually managed to escape in a matter of weeks or months.
The Vault has only five of its individual cells filled at present. Rumors of the facility have spread through the underworld community like wildfire, causing great consternation over the many mysteries surrounding it. The prevailing wisdom is that there is no escape from the Vault until you have served your time. A criminal's only hope is to escape before they put him or her in there, it remains to be seen if the Vault will live up to its reputation and design specifications.

Ice Box
A maximum security prison located in the Canadian Tundra. Many of Alphaflight's worst villians are incarcerated in there, such as Borealis, Deadly Ernest, the remains of Jerry Jaxon(Box II) and Link to name a few.

Image
Code Zoo
The "Code Zoo", is a proprietary magneto-optical data storage unit used to secure any and all artificial intelligences UNTIL has captured, this means entire programs, fragments of code and or rogue A.I.'s like Ultivac and the Thinker.

Haven Security Village
A special prison for mad scientists. Prisoners appear to live inside a residential suburb, which is a facade hiding a high tech security system. Many refer to it as a high-tec "Leave it to Beaver" set.
T. O. Morrow, Veronica Cale, Doctor Tyme, I. Q. (Ira Quimby)[/b], and Dr. Nekros all have revolving suites there.

Enclave M
A special prison located somewhere in the outbacks of Australia designed to hold the elite super-assasin Tai-pan in a permanent hot-sleep chamber.

Ta'lk-Ga'rathk-The Jewel of the Abyss
An ancient Atlantean prison which held the continent's worst villians, monsters, exiled nobles, enemies of state and occasional heir to the throne. Namor and others were held there in a state of suspended animation for thousands of years until an ERGON oil drilling platform cracked the seal awakening them and releasing them into open waters.
Notable prisoners included displaced prince Namor, The Unspoken, the Ultiman Exodia the Forbidden One and the Empyrean the Forgotten One, the self proclaimed God- Eneru and his Priests, the Warlord Attuma, the Lumerian princess Llyra, exiled mage Skull master, the dark priest Ghaur, Underworld King Chaor, the deciever Ba'al, the Magnificent Victoream, Demon king Piccolo, the Fanthom Five, the Devourer, the wizard king Wrath-Amon, the necromancer Thulsa Doom, the Tangled man, the part-serpentman sorceress Sulinara and her demon Graak, the alien Cerebraeum, the M'arrilians Milla'iin, Xis’torq, Erak’tabb and Ihun'Kalin, King Shark, Layla, Pamoon the brave, Skithia, Atrapol and 150 other prisoners.

Crossmoor
Her Majesty's Ultimate Security Prison
Crossmore has many high level technology purchased on the world market; including energy fields (stasis cage), and toughened cells to keep even high level super strength users in check.
Crossmore also has a sub level chamber specifically built for high level telepaths, featuring psi-dampener, and extremely low frequency sonics as an irritant. The Master villian Menton currently resides within a permanent hot-sleep chamber somewhere beneath the sub-level.

The Spire
433 Eros, a 'rocky needle', six miles in length, at the heart of the Sol system's asteroid belt. General John Ryker(General Gamma) is currently incarcerated there.

Space & Beyond

Labyrinth
A Lor rehabilitation facility created to imprison the Republic's worst criminals. The facility is linked to a red dwarf star by a stable plasma arc and orbited by 9 orbital guard and defense stations.
The facility is situated in a part of Lor space called the "Teeth" and is a short distance from another prison which houses the more white-collar offenses.

Image
Ord Vaxal
The most famous of Thran prisons and a dumping site for failed genetic experiments and throw-backs. It is a lush jungle moon filled with carnivorus flora and fauna and the occasional still active death weapon.
Those who are sent there are told they can be absolved of their crimes if they can find a special transporter located in an abandoned lab somewhere in the jungle that will beam them on to the planet below. What they don't know is that there is at least 300 different facilities scatered around the moon and all but one has been destroyed or beyond repair.
The moon is also a famous recruiting and testing ground for the Voth and the Qularr who usually come to the moon to either capture or hunt interesting specimens.

Image
Belsavis
These ancient Rakatan prisons have been maintained by the Lor Republic and used to incarcerate some of the galaxy’s most dangerous crime lords, Mandalorian warriors, and ferocious aliens.
Some cells make use of a device called the Rakatan mind trap, the prisoner's mind is stripped from his/her body and locked away within the prison, presumably forever. The only means of escape was into the body of another who had inadvertently become trapped, although this requires the consent of both involved.

Anvil
Penal colony on the planet Annoval XIV. It was the site of an attempted breakout by the space pirate Nebula.

Image
Incarcecon
Is a planet-sized prison built to house the most dangerous criminals in the galaxy. Fully automated, prisoners are simply sent to the facility via ship and stranded in one of several makeshift mega-cities on the prison's surface. Coined by the galactic cummunity as the "Planet of Thieves". As prisoners on Incarcecon are supposed to never see the light of day again, there are no guards or rules to keep them in line.
Food and resources are shipped to the prison every month making a small window for when the security is low enough to either enter or escape without notice, though this is rare.
Any ship that flies within proximity of Incarcecon is given a several second warning, via prerecorded voice, before being shot out of space unless it either identifies itself as an authorized vehicle or flies away.
Located on the fringe of Myriad space.

Image
The Kyln
The Kyln are a series of artificial moons at the edge of known space between the Golden Galaxy and the Limbo Galaxy, which served both as a superhuman prison and a source of nearly unlimited power. Operations at the Kyln are overseen and maintained by a number of interstellar races and various degrees of mechanical automation (flying robots, nanotechnology, etc ...), its primary architect is unknown.
The ex-star knight Blackstar is currently incarcerated there pending excecution for multiple counts of mass murder and destruction of property or extradition into Star Knight custody(which is highly un-likeky). The Kyln is also the home to the infamous crime boss Monstar and the notorious Skeletor of Denebria.

Image
The Gaothoem Dead Zone
A massive region devoid of planets for nearly half a light year around the planet Gao Tho in the Pegasus Galaxy. The Zettex Demesne declared the area entirely off-limits after losing the initial fleet sent to investigate the disaster, and so patrols, sensors stations, and killer satellites now surround the area keeping the curious out or containing whatever it is that dwells in the sector’s sole remaining planetary body.
Although the debris is a tempting hideout pirates, smugglers, rebels, and other riffraff, risk of capture and fear of what may reside deeper in the region means only the bravest or most foolhardy dare do so. Treasure seekers are also common enough, as the belief that something of value must have survived the destruction of all those planets is strong and prolific, and perhaps they are right. However, nobody who has passed into the Dead Zone beyond maximum sensor range has ever returned (so far as anyone knows.)
There are 2 conflicting origins for the zone, one is that the destruction is the result of the native Gaothotem's melding their entire civilization into one massive conscionus while the other is due to the mad mechanations of the Mad Grigori Zalk Kad before being sealed inside the center by a being that many local myths call the Great Protector.
Whatever the case screams can literally be heardand felt by ships that pass by the region, adding to the sector's creepiness.
Black Wing II and the crew of the Anteles had a run in with the zone's locals on their journey to return to Earth. One group wanted to kill Marr-Ann so that she didn't awake the great demon "GreGori" while the other group wanted to sacrifice her for the opposite reason.
Needless to say there's a rather large bounty on their heads in that region.

Image
Roccaluce (The Fortress of Light) Lake Fortress Of Light:
Coined as the "Carebear Rehab" by Splotch, Roccaluce is a gated retreat where prisoners are deemed "guests" and the cells are a magical virtual reality designed to foster actions of peace and tranquilaty in it's inmates until they see the error of their ways and reform. Those who don't conseed are doomed to a lifetime of springtime fields and sugary sunsets.
The fortress is unreachable for almost anyone except for advanced magicians who can travel through dimensions. It is a temple high above the clouds on a huge and rocky mountain.

Image
the Omega Dimension
A seemingly endless frozen wasteland roamed by ferocious beasts which houses the most dangerous entities in Otherworld. If one survives long enough one can encounter the frozen remains of those imprisoned there in ages past.
It is the one place the Lords of Winter, Summer, Fall, and Spring consider off limits and will never willing journey there for any reason.
The Dark lord Balthor was sealed there until the Dark Undermaster foolishly freed him in an attempt to destroy the Masterson siblings and has been regretting it ever since.

Image
World of Negatives
A dark multiverse of worlds designed to specifically cater to or control a specific villian or monstroscity. Those encountered within aren't always the intended inmate, IE While in Okyto City the villianous Power Punk Z maybe the regarded prisoners, but it is in fact the demonic Kare that this world was crafted for.
Being of heroic virtue is not a viable detorrent as even heroes can be sucked into this strange world with little idea of how they got there or how to leave. Leaving is not impossible but requires a bit of skill and an equal amout of luck. Whoever created it seemed to have some sense of honor or fairplay and built in a series of back doors, however finding one doesn't necessaryly mean you've got an exit as it could just as easily lead to another world.
The only ones that know the true layout are the mysterious Shroud Keepers who seem to either control the universe or act upon it's will. They are the ones who hold the keys to either your escape or incarceration.
This world seems to prefer targets that are capable or destined for faiths of great evil. Elite of the Alterniteens was almost trapped there during one of their adventures, as were members of both the Freedom League and Tyranny Syndicate when they were sent there as entertainment by the Beyonder Kallus.

Fire
Fire is an inhospitable planet, the entire surface of which is covered in desert and open seas of lava. Even when the sun beats down mercilessly on the desert sands, the ground below is still hotter than the sky above. Fire is said to have no water of its own, and people on the open sands during daylight quickly die. The inhabitants of Fire live in enormous towers, each of which contains a single city. These provide them shade from the sun and possibly keep them cooler by raising them away from the planet's warm surface. Prince's city, Princetown, is cooled by an enormous bellows powered by damned souls forced to pedal on exercise bikes attached to Guillotines.
The planet "Fire" is the afterlife for evil souls, and it shares a tight mutual orbit and an atmosphere with the planet Water, which is the afterlife for good souls. The souls on Water and Fire have no memory of how they arrived there; they simply "woke up" there one day.
Fire is ruled by Prince, a man with supernatural powers who may be an embodiment of Death . Prince controls certain aspects of Fire such as the ability to reincarnate in whatever form he wishes and has influence over the queue in which evil souls wait to be reincarnated onto Fire (because of the bulk of dead souls, not everyone is immediately incarnated on Fire). Other leaders on Fire wage constant war against Prince; these include Duke, who has lesser supernatural powers, being able to only reincarnate as himself, Priest, Prince's cowardly lackey and Queen, who is the reincarnation of the cannibal warlord Giggerota from Cluster 1.
Fire and Water are in the Earth's solar system, in the same orbit as Earth but on the opposite side of the Sun and in a dimensional shift similar to Counter-Earth.

It was first encountered when Mr. Hoppy transported Orkus and the Patriots their due to an insult. Whatever the case, Orkus lost all of his strength and powers upon contact with the planet's surface and nearly died of poisoning effects. Short story they managed to escape and Orkus swore vengence on all involved, while Prince vowed to make Athena his Queen willing or not and next time the "weakling" would pull his chariot.
Orkus would love to feed Fire to Abbadon, but the fear that it may poison his fortress prevents him from doing so.

Image
Hellworld
A prison dimension used by the Gatesmen of the Myriad for only the highest level of offenders. Being sent to Hellworld is tand amount to a Death sentence and not treated lightly.
Recently a mass jailbreak was caused when the wife of one of Dr. Dungeon's many victims captured him and overloaded his suit freeing an influx of his surviving victims but also unleashing a horde of alien monstrocities and convicts in the process. Fortunately the power surge was detected by local Gatesmen leading to a quick though messy clean up.

Galactic Gazeteer: Galadorian edition
Presents...

Star Knights VS. Spaceknights: The Trial of Blackstar

The infamous ex-Star Knight Blackstar has finally been captured in the space ways of the planet Galador in an area called the Golden Galaxy by the locals. Surprisingly the capture does not go to his former compatriots but to the local favorites the Galadorian Spaceknights.
Though Blackstar carved a path of destruction through the Golden Galaxy and it's out reaching systems his shadow bands were no match for the Spaceknights most powerful weapon the Neutralizer. Defeated and restrained he was escorted to the Klyn for imprisonment and now awaits trial.

Enter now the difficult world of lengthy deliberation and jurisdictional desputes.
The Star Knights while grateful for his capture would like him turned over to them for processing and institutionalisation by Mentor. The people of the Golden Galaxy however would like to see him tried for mass-murder and then either executed or imprisoned for life inside the Klyn.

While the Spaceknight's would love to help their old allies and hand Blackstar over, the problem is that Blackstar's attacks weren't just limited to Galador but to their neighbors and allies in the Trinity Alliance, so things are out of their hands. In fact the Alliance has only allowed the Star Knights to view the proceedings out of mutual respect and to get a proper account of Blackstar's crimes and history, they have no intention of surrendering their prisoner(at least not alive anyway).
Though the Alliance may be willing to make some form of deal, if the Star Knights are willing to take another troublesome prisoner off their hands. Their Limbo counterparts on the other side of the Klyn would certainly sleep better if they could transport the notorious crimeboss Monstar safely out of the galaxy without incident. However previous attemps have allways ended in 2 ways; with him either escaping due to his cohorts attacking the transports or drawing power from the legendary Moonstar of Limbo to overpower the guards and thus escape under his own means.

However it's no coincidence that Blackstar was captured in Galador space,he allowed himself to be(though he wasn't expecting to be captured so easily, cursed neutralizer). Attacking the worlds of the Golden Galaxy was the only way to be incarcerated in the Klyn and thus the only way to find his quarry the famous criminal Lardak Lurdak.
Blackstar is biding his time searching for the only one that know's the wherabouts of an ancient Galadorian relic said to rival the power of both the Star and Space Knights. The fabled Armor of Mentus.
Little does he know is that the legend has been obscured by time with a more recent tale of Mentus, Galador's former Prime Director and the 1st (and only) Galadorian to transfer his thoughts(albeit his darker ones) into his armor . If he does find the armor he'll have the power he seeks, but most likely at the cost of his mind and body.

Heroes of the Future
part 1

Time is a tricky thing, there are multiple timelines that can lead to completely different out comes just by your actions(or in-actions) alone.
The fact that there are so many futures that seem to be specific to certain heroes or teams is even more baffling.
The Freedom League has at least 2 versions called the Freedom Legion, The Patriots have both the Patriots Army and the Cosmic Defenders, the Sentinels have the Galactic Guardians. and even the Champions have a 30th century version of themselves with it's very own Defender.
Strangely there has never been any interaction between a specific team and another team's future counterparts. Maybe an individual solo hero associated with a team but never a different team.
The on-going theory is that each future is influenced by their individual adventures creating a future where at least only one team's exploits survives to the current future in some kind of form or context. Since time is naturally at flux there's a possibilty that all and none are the final future, which alot find saddening since that means the heroes that they've inspired and fought alongside may ceast to exist or be replaced all together(in the case of the Patriots).

It's also possible that each maybe some form of Mirror zone effect or a completely alternate Earth that isn't aware that it is one or hasn't become one yet, like Doctor Tomorrow's Erde.
If it's the former then it's just as saddening as the 1st theory.

Charles Phipps wrote: Patriots Army
IThe Patriots Army started as a collection of teenagers who had become fascinated with Pre-Cataclysm Earth history and the superheroes of the past. Less like heroes and more a gang, the original trio stole away inside a time machine to meet some of their heroes.
Their encounter with Angel Girl, Black Wing, and the Red Queen shamed the group as the three young heroes convinced them to join together to become genuine heroes. First, defeating Death Mask on a rampage through the 2nd New Calender Century and then stopping the galaxy conquering Time Master.

Over the next decade, they'd routinely summoned the three heroes from the past and occasionally a few others in order to gain advice on being super heroes. Eventually, the team matured to become just as great a group of heroes as the ones from the past. It has been a long and difficult road, however, and often still comes back to bite the heroes.

The Patriots Army-Alpha Team

Telekinetic Boy: The leader of the Patriots Army according to most; Telekinetic Boy is seemingly indestructible, capable of flight, and possesses incredible strength. In fact, this is all a manifestation of his incredibly versatile telekinetic abilities that he uses to great effect. The most serious of the team, Telekinetic Boy is a classic hero and a bit of a buzz kill. Part of this has to do with coming from the very emotionally and culturally repressive culture of Lunaria.

Telekinetic Boy is bisexual. While in love with Chameleon Girl, he has often been known to develop crushes on heroes of the 21st century (much to many's deep discomfort).

Ultramind X: Julius Moriarty the "child" of Ultramind 2.0 and Alexander Timons (with the D.N.A of Red Queen complicating the matter as well) who was created when that android needed to 'upgrade' due to programming leftover from Ultramind 1.0. The result is a nano-tech enhanced human who grew to adulthood within only a few days and the consciousness of an entire planet. Ultramind is the frequently irritated brains of the team.
Ultramind X is known to play a ridiculously complex game of chess against Time Master, the pieces being the worlds of the galaxy themselves. This is especially irritating given their real goal is the hand of Star Princess and his relationship suffers with his team over both.

Star Princess: Marinna Holmes is from the planet Mars and and possessed of vast space-time bending powers. Equally important is her razor-sharp intellect that allows her to keep pace even with Ultramind and other villains like him. Star Princess suffers a frequent uphill battle to have people take her seriously given she's about as intimidating as Sarah Michelle Gellar in appearance (her costume is also pink and white). Her genuine niceness and pleasant attitude constantly cause individuals to underestimate her, much to her annoyance. Star Princess is a genuine royal, which annoys many of her home planet's British descended royals given her generally pleasant and egalitarian manner.

Marinna seems to have an odd affect on men of the Moriarty Line, causing them to fall over themselves trying to impress her. This has been awkward on several occasions, especially given Time Master's attempts to offer her the galaxy.

Kid Divinos: Kid Divinos is Angel Girl's many many many times removed descendent, much to her irritation. A snot nosed punk from New Mithran, Kid Divinos has always been a fame seeker and even traveled back to the 21st century to show up the heroes of the past (often getting smacked down brutally in the process). A glory hound, Kid Divinos is mostly doing such because he was unexceptional on his home world and starved for some kind of approval. His glory lust doesn't get in the way of his genuine heroism however and he's lost several endorsements (in this century or another) because of a refusal to compromise his beliefs for money.

Kid Divinos is the youngest member of the Alpha Squad and has a on and off again flirtation with Valkyrie's adult self. Ironically, her adult self can't stand him yet her younger self crushes on him.

Lady Wotan II: The daughter of Lady Wotan and Percy Washington, Lady Wotan II grew up the child of another century. While her parents were remembered as hated vllains, Lady Wotan vowed to use her magics to right the wrongs of the New Calender 2nd century. Unfortunately, Miss Wotan didn't inherit her father's keen intelligence and often bumbles over the tremendous magical power she wields. A shy wallflower type, many heroes unconsciously find themselves drawn to her and she's unsure how to react to them. She has a deep problem with Twilight Queen due to their polar opposite personalities and the fact that her powers are primarily light based.

Chameleon Girl: The beautiful Emma Winton is capable of shapshifting into any form and 'clouding' the minds of those around her. Chameleon Girl is something unnerving to many given she hails from the Vortex Empire and is a former member of Time Master's Secret Police. Still a fascist, Emma Winton joined the side of angels due to her love with Telekinetic Boy but is always the voice of brutal practicality within the Patriot Army. Several times, Time Master has attempted to lure her back into his service and this has called her loyalties into question.

Chameleon Girl relationship with Telekinetic Boy is unconventional by 21st century standards given that they're deeply in love but has maintained relationships with several other members of the team. While Emma Winton appears to be a pretty brunette human, she's actually biologically Tsavong but considers that ancestry unimportant and identifies with Earth/The Vortex Empire as her home.

Twilight Queen: Deborah Stein-Fairchild is the distant descendant of the Shadowcasting Stein family. Twilight Queen is significantly darker, one might even say a future version of Goth, person compared to her predecessor and a great deal more bombastic in her personality ("BOW BEFORE YOUR QUEEN!"). She is also a bit of a mystic that has learnd her powers do not require the Shadow Ring of her ancestors. Twilight Queen is also arguably the most powerful of the team given her ability to generate vast amounts of shadow.

Curiously, Twilight Queen considers Light to be a fundamentally evil force and has faced numerous cults devoted to the 'Lightbringer' that she is determined to fight. Part of this has to be that the Light cultists massacred her entire home world to attempt to destroy her at birth.
Couldn't really think of any reason to change it.

Cosmic Defenders
The Cosmic Defenders, are the galaxy’s most powerful superheroes. Many are heirs to the legacy of the Patriots (though Black Wing II is still annoyed that no one has any idea who he is), they recognize no borders in their pursuit of justice.
Headquarted out of the Ravager-class fortress ship Justice's Glory, the CD patrol the star ways protecting the galaxy from tyrany and emergency alike. They have only encountered their predecessors a handfull of times most notably when the dark fiend Orkus journeyed into the past to consume the powers of his younger counterpart and when the mad mage Merlin used them as pawns in some sort of scavenger hunt stretched all over time itself.

Divinity
A godlike being who may or may not be the son of Athena and Divinos (or
he might even be the latter having ascended into godhood on his own.) He is almost a being of pure energy like a living sun, and leads the group when he isn't roaming the galaxy righting wrongs.

Void Hawk/Star Guardian
Living embodiments of Chaos and Order, Void Hawk and Star Guardian are 2 beings that share the same physical axis. Created from an attempt to merge a Cosmic Blade and a Guardman's amulet into the same embryo, Void Hawk is pure offense and destructive power while Star Guardian is absulte defensive ability and temporal manipulation.

Tyris the Ruthless
Thundarian War Bird and warrior princess,Tyris crushes the enemies of the Empire while her twin sister Mynes the Meek deals with the problems of beurucrats and petty lords.
She carries the Nu-Clear Ax and ancient relic once wielded by a warrior god made of blue flame who once saved the empire from the brink of destruction.

Chuck "Crusher" Star
Hails from one of Jupiter's moons and has the uncanny power to lighten or increase the weight of anything within his vacinity. The only downside is that what he takes or gives to one thing has to be distrubated from something else before he can use it again.
Trained in everything from farming to smuggling whatever his powers can't handle his trusty Gyrojet or Gauss rifles are alway's up to the challenge.

Corporal Nebula
A soldier/astronaut lost in space during the enetial test of a new FTL aircraft during the start of the 20xx era, Corporal Ted "Crash" Nebula was discovered by a research team floating in the orbit of Pluto.
Corp. Nebula wears a special body suit designed to allow him to survive the forces and rigors of early FTL travel which also enhances his strength and reflexs but also comes with the drawback that should he ever remove it he would instantly return to his true age and fall apart.
He wields the legendary shield of "Sheepbeard" which can fire a massive blast of energy when he concentrates hard enough. Whether this is some form of latent superpower or the sheild gained some form of mystical ability between then and now is anyone's guess.

Goldsfire
A half Thran sharpshooter and all around party girl, Goldsfire uses a mixture of her charm, wit and just plain good/dumb luck to get out of the direst of situations(some of which were her own doing to begin with).
Not only can she read emotions thrue empathy she's also impervious to all forms of heat and ultraviolet radiation.

Ultramind XII
Sometime before the year 2XXX the utterly mad (by this time) Ultramind would be attacked by the Anti-Ultramind Coalition and forced onto the crystalline surface of Pluxon. Where his crushed fluids and data storage was absorbed by the then unknown crystal inhabitants increasing their intellect beyond normal levels and turning them into living computers.
Ultramind XII is the highest intellect in the galaxy and a chief strategist for the team but has a curious(read: "bad" or "no") sense of humor.

Yondo yut ynt youut Yundo
The blind marksman of Alpha Centauri, Yondo is capable of shooting anything he aims at regarless of how fast they are or how many times they dodge. His antena also give him a form of precognition that allow him to avoid near death instances.
For some reason unclear to him everyone just calls him "Sherwood".

Sounds interesting! Ultra Octavius, I like your take on the protectors of the Future of Wonders. :D

My own take on the Patriot Army and the Cosmic Defenders is that they're either (A) from different points in the same time-stream or (b) Contemporaries in the same way that the Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy are - from the same period, but performing duties rather far apart.

I would be interested in hearing Charles Phipps' thoughts on the matter, but have probably bugged him enough for one week (or one lifetime).

The Cosmic Defenders are a bit of an in-universe retcon as part of my desire to make the original HED! more print-worthy. I removed a few things I didn't like (Olympiana for example) and replaced them with things I did. I always just attributed the name change to Ultimatum punching time.

And boy was Time ticked!

:)

Great write-ups Ultra8. I love Divinity! He sounds fascinating! Your time/space theories and Hawk/Dove homage are great too!

You're making HED more print worthy? Are we going to be seeing a HED 3rd Edition soon?

HED! 3.0 is planned sometime next year actually.

Not much will change but rules though.

That and Valkyrie will be legal.

HED! 3.0 is something I would very much like to be a part of, if you will have me.

3.0 probably won't be actually all that different to be honest. Just an update of the existing text, stats, and an additional year progression.

Crinos, if we keep posting our half-crazed ideas long enough, I'm sure Charles, Dirk and those other sober businessmen of Phipps studios will eventually 'borrow' - ahem, I meant borrow  - some of them.

Since they're good fellows one and all they'll probably even give us a writing credit.

I seem to have become the hub for interesting news. 8)
Looking forward to your plans for HED 3.

Thanks I always aim to please.
Well it was less Hawk/Dove and more Starhawk and Aleta the strangest married couple in the galaxy.
