But to get back on topic, is their any chance we can get a more detailed breakdown on content as we approach the release date? How many pages on Gotham, Metropolis, Batman Beyond, Legion of Super-Heroes, that sort of thing?

I can't preview anything until DC signs off on the book -- and as soon as they do that, we'll release the PDF, so there won't be much time for previews.

The only preview we need is the contents pages. The book looks to be drastically different in layout compared to the others. I'm
expecting it to be like Freedom City. A lot of setting info with characters scattered throughout. I guess it's all in DC's hands now
when they approve the final draft.

Since the Master Plan™ has been derailed by Mr Dawey's teetotalism, I'm just going to have to go back to hating everyone... :|

...but it'll probably pass quickly once i get my mitts on the PDF... hopefully...

For all of us old fashioned types, how long would it be before you expect the print version to find it's way to stores?

We don't have the final-final approved book back from DC, but even so, I'd guess late May or early June to get the book printed, shipped to us, then out to distributors and stores.

When do you t hink the pdf will hit now, Jon? Any more word?

I won't toot my own horn on the book-I'll just say the sections I've seen from the other authors are awesome! It is worth the wait!

(But not too much longer please, DC editors).

All my best.

Nothing new yet. The book just went back to DC late Thursday. Depending on their workload, it could be another week and a half before we hear from them. I doubt that will be the case, but it's a possibility since that's their official turnaround time.

DC gave us some very minor changes late Friday, Hal made the changes on the three pages that needed it and sent it back to them for approval. Hopefully we'll get that approval today and we can get the PDF out this week! (There's a little more to it than just hitting "Release".)

Fantastic!

Were these just typos, or editing errors or what?

Or did you have to re-write content and now see if that is going to be approved?

Not the latter, I hope. The preview you gave us was great, and I really want the genuine finished article up for everyone else to enjoy.

All my best.
