So how would you build Blob's immovability?

I'm thinking Enhanced Strength, limited to opposed strength checks... or something along those lines.
Thank you,

Sounds fine to me. You could also do an Immunity similar to Immunity to Entrapment just instead of Immunity to Snares/Grabs/Ect... It would be Immunity to Forced Movement.

In the Strength Power Profile there's the Bracing power:

Immunity 10 (being moved), Sustained • 10 points

Just drop the Sustained Extra and no one can move him. Period.

What about Juggernaut? His power is a type of Class 3000 forcefield (like +24 in a non-capped game), let's say in DCA its just a +20 Impervious (or if you want a bit higher total toughness when added to his Stamina score, but clearly he can be harmed as evidence in the comics but only by those who can deal out high damage, and he has a type of regenerative ability.

But part of that force field makes him 'unstoppable'. Sure you can add other traits to the build but how about a type of Immunity (to being held or stopped).

How might you word this?

If your not familiar with Juggernaut, go read up on him and the mystical gem. Essentially, he is like an avatar from what I understand and represents, much like top-end DC characters, a god-like ability for what he does well. His strength and lifting capacity can account for some, but the Immunity is linked to his movement so once he starts moving he literally cannot be stopped.

Now, the classic example, what if two characters, like these who have Immunities face off? An eternal stalemate?

Anyone got thoughts, and please add corrections and clarifications of your concept of Juggernaut's powers but cite evidence if you can via a link

The character Adamant is also a good source for how he was done seems similar to a good juggernaut type character, and I know he has immunities but not to being stopped, so would you start with a build similar to Adamant, and then simply add the immunity and a Limitation to only when moving?

Well since immunity is only on the resistance, not the attack the two "opposing" Immunities would never interact. Immunity to being stopped might include Immunity to Entrapment and Immunity to Forced Movement but it wouldn't for example mean he always wins opposed strength checks. There is not way to "always win" when you're on the offensive (trying to push someone out of the way) not as M&M is now anyway. Of course you can always beef up your strength/take Ultimate Effort [Strength] to help make it more consistent as well as making sure things that would stop you (such as Immunity to Forced Movement) is not commonly available in games where the juggernaut is in.

Yes, technically if you have sufficient strength the juggernaut can do much of that, and a power like Burrowing.

But we have to think like a real comic writer. Is there an instance where the juggernaut would be stopped? The answer is yes, and in many cases he would be slowed by whatever the writer thought up only to advance later, yet if the obstacle were special, like an Adamantium Wall or something like that, or some Cosmic Cube barrier, or some Galactus created whatever (you get the idea insert some fantastical reason) then it could be a case where you'd read something like "And the Juggernaut has met the IMPASSABLE BARRIER" and that would be that. I could see a story element like that.

With 16 strength you can essentially smash through most normal barriers anyways, but you want the math so when you hit it, the barrier autofails by 10 (destroyed) so he literally smashes a hole. Since that is generally 12 or less toughness for most objects then what strength is needed to accomplish that. You could go with Toughness 10, but 12 covers it.
