Threat Report Junkpile

Postby Black Mamba » Wed Jan 19, 2011 6:59 am

Junkpile's Massive Power appears to be incorrect:

Feature 4, 4 points
Growth 4, Permanent, Innate, 9 points
Impervious Protect 10, 20 points.
Total cost 33 points.

The Mass also appears to be incorrect based on the idea that Junkpile gets +4 Mass from Growth and +4 Mass from the Feature, giving him +8 total Mass. That means he should weigh around 25 tons.

Someone didn't check their HeroLab vs. the PDF....

Junkpile becomes correctly costed at 164 pp and in PL if
-his Immunity (Mental Effects) becomes Immunity (Will Effects) (as shown by his Will- Immune defense): HL and PDF
-his Toughness is raised to 16 and Feature lowered to 1: HL and PDF
-total Abilities cost becomes 18, total Powers cost becomes 121: PDF.
Bold represents corrected text.

Just downloaded the updated PDF/Hero Lab Package.

-The PDF version, as listed, should cost 130 points.
-Will Defense is still listed as Immune on the PDF, while the Hero Lab version has Will 6.
-As listed on the PDF, cost of Abilities should be 18.
-As listed on the PDF, Toughness should be 14, while the Hero Lab version shows Toughness 16.

An updated PDF was released last night. I haven't reviewed it but you might want to specify if these errors are in the 1.1 version or not.

Also Junkpile doesn't need his Toughness raised to +16 to be "in PL". Hitting the caps for all limits isn't a requirement.
Forty six and two are just ahead of me.

Plus he has Dodge and Parry penalties from Growth which can also keep him under PL as well.

I agree with you, I was trying to reconcile/point out the differences between the PDF and Hero Lab versions
