Alternate Form with Reduced Abilities

Postby kenseido » Sat Feb 16, 2013 8:04 pm

I am looking at a feral character who can tap into his bestial side, becoming faster and stronger, but his INT drops significantly. I don't see a way to do that in Hero Lab for 3e. Any thought?

Ah. I take it they didn't port the "allow negative enhanced traits" rule choice from 2E?

If he gains as much as he loses, you can set it up as an alternate power of another enhanced set of traits, e.g.
Bestial Form
-- Enhanced Strength 2
-- Strike 2
-- Uncanny Dodge
-- Super-Senses: Scent
AP: Normal Form
-- -- Enhanced Int 4

Okay, I just checked. Enhanced Trait does allow negatives. Enhanced Abilities did not.

Not sure what the difference is, but okay.

Bundling. They still enforce the "no power can cost less than 1 pp" rule, so you need other items inside to counteract the negative Enhanced Traits.
