2e Powers That are Actually Weapon Skills
Okay, so I'm trying to build a weapon master type character. Easy enough, but I want a set of powers only usable when he has a weapon in hand, at least until he's gained in power some, that are all grouped together. My first instinct was a device but that's not quite what I want since the powers shouldn't be accessible to anyone who takes his sword off him, so I thought an array but that doesn't quite fit either. So I thought a passive container might be right, and that's what I'm going with right now with the appropriate power feats and the like. But it seems a bit cluddgy to me, since he has to be armed and it wouldn't make sense for the damage from his sword to stack with or be replaced by the damage from his powers and you can't add descriptors to containers from what I can tell. At the moment he's limited to using them when he has a weapon in hand which is all I can think of.

Can he do more damage then the weapon he is holding would normally do?
Because if he cannot, I built this power for Ultimate Hawkeye:
Ranged Weapon Master (15 pp)
• Damage 5
– Autofire 2 (interval 1, max +3)
– Range (ranged)
– Limited (rank limited to damage rank of weapon fired or thrown)
– Variable Descriptor (Narrow group - Descriptor of any weapon held)
– Focus (weapon held or thrown)

He can, but that's a good start, thanks.
