And the update has been released! No news yet on fixes for 2E yet.

On a side note, the latest version of Hero Lab breaks the 2E and 3E stock portfolios in minor ways. Somehow, the 3E portfolios all received a source requirement for the "Supernatual Handbook" (sic) and all of the 2E Portfolios have the "Worlds of Freedom" sources turned on as well as the "Alternate Power as a -1 Flaw" rule, which means stock portfolios with an array (most of them) will come up as having too many pp spent. It may also mean that people who didn't buy the Ultimate Power package will get errors as it tries to include sources that it doesn't need.

Do these seem to be the only issues with the new update or should we be extra careful with our portfolios? I'd hate to lose hours of editing because I realize, too late, that their patch introduced some data-breaking bug of sorts :(

It looks like it's just the stock portfolios. When I've loaded my own portfolios, made before or after the latest update, I've had no issues.

I've created a small utility to cleanse the files. All it does is open up the portfolio or stock file, find the lines with the sources you want not references, and sets their "count" to 0. It's worked on all of the files I've tried, but as with most such utilities, it's to be used at your own risk after backing up your files. I didn't think to post the source code, and that's on another computer, but I will try to do so Monday.

I was pleased to finally see an update for M&M 3e on the software! I was disappointed that they didn't add the output/printout on the pdf to show the Fatigue chart along with the Damage chart. Considering how commonplace it is to "take Fatigue" for Extra Effort, I'm surprised they didn't fix this yet.

To the best of my knowledge, there is no Fatigue chart. There is Fatigued condition, the Exhausted condition, then Incapacitated.

{nods} And there are checkboxes on the sheet for noting when you're at each stage.

Sounds like a time to raise glasses, cheers, and see if we can break the new rules...
Does it have a better convert 2e stats to 3e with it though?
That was what I thought it was, right?
