Out of curiosity, is the 'loud protest' and the like happening out-loud, or is that still over the telepathic link?

You're still in class. Several students, and the teacher. Unless you're postponing all this until after you get out of class? (I'd missed any reference to that).

Ah, the teacher's there.

Gillian would keep it in the mental realm. Not wanting to involve the teachers just yet. But the threat is there.

FYI, I have a roleplaying game convention this weekend until late Monday. I'll try to stay involved but I'll catch up if not.

Has someone talked with MEL? was that supposed to happen after investigation class?

by the way, if the next part of the adventure is going down into the tunnels then Gillian can be persuaded. It's a hard line between having an adventure and 'no sane kid would ever DO that...'.

And I appreciate that you're willing to 'play along'. There'll be some small investigation there, and you guys can choose what to do after that, but I -do- have something planned for the next day's classes...

Look at almost every series involving kids (Harry Potter, etc...) and you'll see that there are so many unbelievably stupid actions that can't all be put down to the excesses of youth. Just trying to keep a credible 'teacher's pet' character.

So, is there anything anyone wants to do before trying to sneak into the danger room for the investigation? If not, I'll put up the start of that come Monday.

Sorry, I'm not very good at being pro-active.

Can't really think of anything else to do for Alice, so I'm fine with jumping ahead.

Fine with jumping. Seems like a GM boot to the butt is needed to kickstart us xD

So... Is there something else I should be adding in the IC thread? The choice was to go investigate, right? Or was I mis-reading the intent somehow?

I think you're fine...I've just been busy with work. All hell decided to break loose it seems >_>

I'll be posting sometime tomorrow though with things having died down.

Yes, but you're not the only one. Hell, the only one who posted anything was me and that was just me forcing it.

To be honest I'm not even sure what to do half the time anyway: idle conversation and school assignments are things I'm bad at. I really exhausted my character's talking points early on and am now just waiting for action sequences and even then the character doesn't feel worth it.

So I'm bowing out: this is the wrong game for me.

Really sad to hear that...I kind of feel guilty for not providing a more stimulating experience as a player to keep you in the game :(

But I totally understand where you're coming from and thoroughly respect your decision...just sad to see you go.
