Little confused, Jamal- Jace is making it look like he's picking the lock... But the door -is- actually locked... So how is he getting it open?

Jace's enhanced tactile senses could tell that the standard security lock to the danger room proper was in-place, but that the control room door was not secured

I assumed that meant it wasn't locked..

The control room isn't. The danger room is.

Then what's wrong?

Jace walks up to the control room "I should be able to... yeah, there we go." He fiddles around near the lock for a second before opening the door. "Now, lets see what we've got in here.. Uh.. anybody know how to work this place?"

Skill mastery: Bluff = 20 to make it look like he 'picked the lock'. :p

To clarify : Control room door = unlocked. Jace opens control room door. Am I missing something?

Is the control room INSIDE the danger room, meaning we have to get through the locked danger room door first?

I apologize. I must've somehow been consistently misreading that. Yes, you can 'fake-pick' the control room door.

I'll post an update at some point tomorrow. Again, my apologies.

No worries. I apparently was thoroughly confused by Jace's antics as well. Silly Jace :P

Lemme redact or just remove my post.

Just a heads-up : I plan on Thursday to move along to the next class you all share (Physics). I know you all didn't get a lot out of the investigation of the danger room, but you did get some leads to follow up if you feel like doing so. If there's anything else you wish your character to do before the next class, please let me know!

So considering the facts that there's signatures of teleportation, and Jace found just an empty hole, I guess we're working on the theory that the beast was ported in underneath and broke through the floor? Also did we have a chance to share said information and reach said conclusion last night after they extracted Jace from the danger room?

I'd imagine we would have talked it up a bit?

I mean, a bunch of high school kids just broke into a state-of-the-art virtual reality simulation room to investigate a mythological creature busting out of the ground...figure we would have shared stories lol

As far as things for characters to do...how would I go about progressing Adam? I'm thinking of trying to actually get him some equipment, but not sure if that would require Wealth rules or if that would require crafting...

equipment is an advantage. 1p gets you 5 equipment points.

Yep. Go with equipment. :)

And yes, I assume stories were passed around.

Speaking of expanding a character, however, I've been remiss: Everyone gets 2 PP. I get veto power on what it's spent on, of course, but I'm pretty flexible.
