Firekin
Condition: Dazed, -1 Toughness (and -2 Toughness from Weaken)
HP: 1

As Huckster threw his bottle of Fat Reducer, Inge frowned. Certainly there was little point in doing that; her fire would evaporate the liquid! But it wasn't to be--just enough of the chemical made it through her flames and it began to work on her body terrifically fast. The pain blinded her momentarily and she screamed as her body was assaulted!

Fort (DC 20) (1d20+10=18) -2 Toughness Weaken effect
Toughness (DC 25) (1d20+12-2=19) Dazed and 1 Hit

Fletch
HP: 1 Condition: -1 Toughness

He'd tried to twist away from the blast, and wasn't entirely successful. He avoided the worst of the damage from Looking Glass' weapons, but it still rattled his head and left him stunned.

ooc wrote: 1d20+7=27, so he's at -1 Toughness

He smiled bitterly. "Why are the beautiful ones always criminally insane?"

Gladius
Cond: Normal
HP: 1

A very short time ago, Gladius would have reprimanded himself for his failure to act faster. He was a different person now, and he accepted his actions and their consequences. Given his abilities, he preferred to walk extremely softly - almost floating wherever he went.

Right now, however, his feet were firmly planted on the floor. Slowly reaching towards a piece of furniture and grabbing it in a way that would give absolutely no leverage or real grip, hefts it effortlessly into the air and towards the Mad Maple. His intent is to distract and scare the villain

Legacy
Hero Points: One.
Condition: Bruised (-1 Resistance Check) & Dazed

The temperature rapidly dropped as the stream of super chilled air rolled over Kaldor, he shuddered for a moment as he willed his body to withstand the intense cold that was, even now causing frost to form over his extremities. He turned his gaze towards the wildly chaotic thought pattern as he dropped to one knee contemplating how best to subdue the young man without allowing further harm to come to anyone else.

OOC: Fortitude vs Damage (DC 25) (1d20+6=15) Just barely making it into the two degrees of failure range, Dazed & -1 Resistance.

Gladius plucks a heavy and impressive looking lamp off the ground with no real effort and tosses it at the Mad Maple. It shatters in half at the villain's feet, but he just looks down and scoffs.

"Looks like your aim's not the equal to your arm, American!"

MM rolls to resist with Will and gets a 16 total. No dice, Gladius.
Now its Firekin's turn.

Firekin
Condition: -1 Toughness (and -1 Toughness from Weaken)

Inge was in pain and the Salamander spurred her to action! With a shrug of flame, she incinerated the bolos that had ensnared her. She flicked a glance at the man and would deal with him in a moment, but for now her temper burned molten hot.

Her's was the power over fire and she unleashed it now upon Huckster! What he had thrown at her was something horrific. She would repay in kind: melting flesh for melting flesh!

Attack (1d20+8=20) DC 27

Overcome Affliction (DC 20) (1d20+12=22)

Recovers from her Dazed. Also recovers a rank of Toughness from the Weaken.

The Huckster's mask burns right off his face and his vest goes up in flames as he begins to scream. Shrieking in agony, the middle-aged man manages to make it to the casino's lagoon fountain, jumping inside with a sizzle. The smell of burnt flesh wafts through the area as he floats to the surface on his back-terribly injured, but still alive.

"Madre de Dios!" The Bola exclaims. "I think its time for me to go." He lets go of the woman he was holding onto, producing another bola and throwing it at the ground. The three balls explode, releasing a billowing cloud of smoke that makes it almost impossible to see.

He gets an 8 total, and that's a big-time fail. He's Incapacitated.
Las Boleadoras is next, and he high-tails it, taking a move action towards the hole Firekin made earlier. He also drops a Cloud Area Concealment effect. It has Increased Area 4, so a 250 foot radius sphere is affected. That's like half the room, and it reaches from floor to ceiling. Its normal vision only, though. So pretty much nobody (not the Guild or you guys) can see anything.
Warp is up next.

Warp
Condition: Fatigued / HP: 2

"No you don't," Warp said. She couldn't see anything through the smoke, but she could still feel the depressions in space-time caused by mass - the furniture, Firekin, the rest of the heroes, and presence of the Bola and his hostage. "Get back here!" She levelled a finger into the cloud of smoke.
Warp should be able to see through the smoke with her Spatial Awareness (accurate, radius, ranged Mental sense).

She'll use her Teleport Attack to teleport the Bola so that he's standing right in front of her. It's precise, so hopefully I can get just him without the civvie, but both of them is fine as well.

Teleport Attack (Power attack +2) (1d20+10=30) = crit
DC 25 Dodge save or be teleported

The Bolo is in mid-stride when he appears in front of Warp. "What the-?" He cuts off, unable to see where he is. "Who did that? Face me like a true guerrero!"

Flying through the cloud of smoke, Firebug emerges on the other side. He proceeds to set a row of slot machines on fire, laughing madly.

He let go of his hostage before he started to move, so you're all good. Precise would have worked anyway.
He only gets a 23 total, so he's teleported directly in front of Warp.
That makes it Firebugs turn and he drops a Line Area Blast on a nearby row of slot machines. Just cause.
Rescue is up.

Rescue
HP: 2-1=1, Condition: Normal

Danielle winced at the second degree burns covering Huckster's body, but given the flesh-eatting goo he'd just lobbed at Firekin, she could barely fault the kid for that reaction. Her real concern right now was the maniac attempting to burn down the casino. She made a beeline for Firebug, grabbing the nape of the villain's neck

So, move and a grab. With all the fire (and us seeing him start the fires), I'm assuming I can get close enough to him without too much difficulty.
Attack (1d20+10=23) to touch him. Assuming that hits, he has to beat a (1d20+10=19) using Strength or Dexterity or be grabbed.

"And if you can't use it responsibly, I'll have to take this away!" She reached out a hand and clenched down on the maniac's weapon.
Spending a hero point to get another action: Making a Smash attempt on Firebug's flamethrower.
Smash (1d20+10=17)
Using Luck to reroll
Smash Reroll (1d20+10=30)
Bo-YAY! His weapon gets a DC 30 Toughness check to not be crushed by Rescue's mighty, cosmic strength.

Polymath

"What a bunch of mouth-breathing head cases. Bolos? Canadians? Really? I'd be looking for the video camera that's filming all this, if I weren't already looking through all the video cameras in the room," Polymath says in a conversational tone to no one in particular.

"Let's get rid of this smoke so we can clean up the garbage." Stepping through the back door that he set up moments ago in the casino's network, he locates the fire safety system snd flicks a virtual switch to turn on all the ceiling sprinklers.

Sorry for the absence. Net access still intermittent but should be normal within 1-2 days. I thought I would post an action even though my turn isn't until later in case I am offline when it rolls around.

I am trying to disperse the smoke cloud by using machine control to turn on all the ceiling sprinklers that I assume a place like this would have for fire control. I'll accept fatigue if that requires a power stunt.

Legacy
Hero Points: One.
Condition: Taking regrettable action.

Weather Mistress had been neutralized, the one of the assailants had attempted to escape prior to the chrono-variable, Warp, translocating through space to an adjacent position. The fellow in the polyester suit had been hit by some sort of super heated plasma, that made Vorgon death rays look humane, the pyrotechnically inclined young man appears to have been neutralized in a grapple with the hero known as Responder. Gladius had interposed himself between Kaldor and this chaotic thought pattern Mad Maple.

The woman with the archaic pistols was firing on another of the assembled heroes, Kaldor, though dazed, took a moment to steel his nerves, and invaded her psyche causing her body to shut down all but her involuntary muscle systems.

OOC: Against Looking Glass, Psionic Paralysis: Cumulative Affliction 10 (1st degree: Hindered, 2nd degree: Immobile, 3rd degree: Paralyzed, Resisted by: Will, DC 20; Cumulative, Increased Range 2: perception, Reversible, Subtle: subtle) & hoping is a free action, right? Really really hoping Mad Maple takes a swing at Gladius this time, no offense bro ;)

While the Firebug manages to pull away from Rescue's grip, her fist tears his flamethrowers in two. His wrist-mounted weapons are left totally useless, one of them ripped completely off his arm and the other with a great big hole in the middle of it.

"My flame-makers! You'll pay for that!" He yells in a rage.

Rescue manages to hit Firebug, but he rolls a 23 total and is not grabbed.
The smash attempt hits though, and his flamethrowers have Toughness 11, being high-tech, sturdy devices. He rolls a 2. They're trashed-Incapacitated.

Fletch's action goes before Polymath's and Legacy's, so I'll resolve those after levinwurth posts.

Fletch
HP: 1 Condition: -1 Toughness

Coughing and waving his hands, Fletch attempted to move blind, fighting his way clear of the billowing smoke. If he couldn't see, there was no way he could target anything.

Warp
Condition: Fatigued / HP: 2

From inside the smoke, Warp whooped and cheered as Weather Mistress went over like a bowling pin into Teal's arms and the hero-doctor-woman turned Firebug's face-melters into scrap metal. Sure, she couldn't actually see her crumple them - her graviton sense didn't have resolution fine enough for her to see facial expressions and things like that - but his shout of outrage was almost good enough. These heroes were pretty good. And hey, it felt great not to be on the receiving end of superior firepower for once!

"Not so tough now, are you?" Warp taunted the Bolo, inadvertently giving away her position but cocky enough not to care. "Now that weathergirl's been taken care of," she menaced him through the smoke, "you're next."
