At the Museum:
"Really?" Gale asked. "Why don't they just grow him a new body and move his mind into it? Maybe he could afford some upgrades too. If he couldn't, maybe he could become a ship's brain for a while to earn enough for a really nice body? I have a cousin who did that and earned his citizenship."
Before Simon or Carstairs could reply, the air next to them split open and a strange reptilian form stepped through. He was nearly as tall as Simon but had a long tail behind him. Small vestigial wings sat on his back, and his horned head was oversized. His scales- and for some reason Simon KNEW that it was a male- were deep purple along his back, but electric blue on his chest. His head was over sized and a mouth full of white fangs gleamed behind snarling reptilian lips.
Looking around, he grabbed Gale and stepped back toward the rift that seemed to still be open. On the other side, wall similar to the ones on the raptor ship were visible.
The girl screamed, both vocally and psychicly, "EIIIIIIIIIII!!!!!!"
At the Sailor's Haven
It didn't take long for the bar to clear and women and men come off the stage. The locals and the imperials were very quick to pay their bills and leave. In the far corner, the borgs were really starting to get into the song and were demanding more beer. The only non Union, non service people left in the bar was a the free trader sitting in the corner, a cloak pulled up over his head as he nursed a drink.
