A: Probably. Some people will play anything.

B: If you play smart enough, you can certainly come close to death but come through a mission with an intact squad. Sometimes not even injured.

Plus, while the lethality of X-COM is certainly a part of it, you could tweak that to up the players' survival rates and still keep the feel of the game. Or you could just build a new PC. I would actually like that possibility, as a player.

I'm confused. Are we in a new round of combat? My first action didn't seem to get resolved.

Ayup. You guys didn't get a surprise round (mostly because they were kind of expecting super heroes-this is Freedom City, after all), and Fletch is high up, but not number one on the initiative order.

I'll be resolving Firekin's action soon and moving things along later today.

Right, right. I'll resolve that now.

In the future, you should probably wait until your own initiative count comes up to post your action. I understand the logic behind doing it the way you did it, but suppose Rescue and Warp had managed to knock out WM?

Also, when making an attack, please include the DC involved, it just makes things easier. Like for Fletch's current attack, I'm assuming this is DC 21, and not DC 20? He has different values for shuriken and other thrown attacks, the text for his post said 'dart', so I'm not a 100% sure.

Hey guys, I am in New Jersey now, electricity and internet have been intermittent for a while due to the hurricane, so there is a good chance I will be unable to post in any of my games for the next few days.
