HEY! who's showing off?!?!
Redline, if you could do a super-speed search for possible survivors in the building, that would be great.
The Fire Marshal had already told Ran he and his crew had cleared the building while surveying the damage and the nature of the fire, so Redline didn't immediately respond to Freedom's request. Watching her and Cerulean descend into the super-heated concrete, he turned his attention to the barricades and the reporters.
The reporters were surging past the police, and the cops had enough amateurs running around their crime scene as it was so Redline moved in a blur over to the reporters. Zipping through the crowd, looking for the WNS team, and while zipping past the other reporters making sure their equipment was staying on the proper side of the police barricade. Sliding to a halt in front of Ms. Moses camera man, he cleared his throat and tried to look nonchalant.
"Looks like the situation is under control for the time being, so why don't we thank the heroes of the day, alright folks?" He threw Candice a quick wink before pointing towards the thirty or so firefighters, police officers, and MIST agents now securing the scene.
"These guys are your heroes, so why don't we show them a little respect, and let them do their jobs. And by doing their jobs, I mean staying out of their crime scene. The attack by the Professionals has been stopped without loss of life. You'll get further information as the police conclude their investigation. Thanks Dolphin Bay!" Throwing a quick thumbs up to the cameras, he took hold of Candice's elbow and spoke quickly.
"Off the record ok? Can we try to keep a reign on digging into those kids identities? If it gets out who they are, which kids are unaccounted for, people will try to guess their identity. That happens we could have the Professionals attack various kids thinking they are the guys who tried to stop them. I don't really think any of us want that do we?""Redline, stop showing off. Give us a hand with Rage."
"Gotta go Ms. Moses, but you've got your exclusive!" With that he zipped over to Bass, M.G. and the unconscious Rage.
"What 'cha need, buddy?"
