LDM
Black Diamond- Ice controller A gimic villain, one of the last remaining. Often steals diamonds but has been know to 'Ice' someone on occasion.
Nightshade- An extreme environmentalist with plant powers and DNA. An apt user of poison, science, and seduction in equal measure. Often a scientist employed by crime boss types.
Steel Talon- An assassin for hire and master swordsman. He has no plans of his own besides his next paycheck and anyone could be his target as long as they can meet his steep prices.
Dark Prophet- A powerful mystic who claims an earth ruled by a powerful, single ruler is the only way for humanity to survive a great disaster in the future. He often targets heroes and government officials as they are the clearest of threats to villains who he believes could be the ruler.
Nirvana Shadow- A student of the dark zen philosophy that no universe is a perfect universe who aims to achieve it. His powers are pure entropy and he has been known to strike without any conceivable cause except chaos, though many believe there is a cause that no one has figured out yet.
So far this is all any of your informants have been able to get to you on the escaped prisoners and you are not convinced that this is all of them. On a more immediate note you see that a few of the people around you are armed, heavily in some cases. The heaviest weapon in the crowd is the miniaturized grenade launcher disguised as a professional grade video camera, a camera pointed right at Galatea and the newswoman.
N'KIE
There is a lot of chatter in the area as many people are on their cell phones and other devices in this area but you keep an 'ear' out for more heavily protected signals and are able to find one connecting a nearby cameraman and a rooftop about a block and a half away.
The Illustrator
You feel great being here but something seems off. Looking around you see some people that are standing in a way that, if you were painting this scene, they should not be standing. A few of them seem to have something hidden and at one point you see what looks like the wicked gleam of a concealed knife. Worse you can tell that the camera of the cameraman in front of you is not a camera at all but you cannot tell what is being disguised.
Galatea
"Well, that certainly is an apt name" the reporter laughs "Your team has been doing a wonderful job in helping with the reconstruction of the city so far. Some people are questioning, though, how effective just three people, even you three, can be to put a stop to the crime that has been on the rise in our city. The protectors have ten full time members and close to thirty that they can call on if necessary, what do you have to say to that?"
