Yeah, I had the same concern but wasn't sure what to do about it since conceal was moderately important to the character. If Bladewind does like both our characters I could probably get rid of the concealment in particular in favor of something else, if necessary. Getting rid of mind reading would hurt, but maybe I could think of something else that could qualify as a revelation. Or just do what Redbstrd said, which also sounds fine.

I would say that the build works fine as is, given that we're both aware of the potential overlap and we can prevent it from becoming a source of frustration if we're both chosen. At least in combat, the Concealment shouldn't be a problem either since yours is folded into your array, which includes your primary offensive capabilities (Weaken, Illusion). That arrangement ensures that Eclipse has the whole "stay in the dark and shoot until everything stops moving" combat strategy exclusive to him.

Here's where I'm at with my selection process... I have five builds, and wanted 2-3 players. I wanted to be at 6 players, but with the apparent return of Voidrazor, that gives me five of the original with a potential of 3 more at a total of eight.

We're going to try it with eight, that way if we lose a player or two we still have a sizable group. The incoming players don't bring copious amounts of damage for the most part... so, please welcome in:

baixiwei - The Secret

Bombaatu - Horus

RedBstrd - Eclipse

With the existing PCs:[/i]

Adventure Dan - Spider

Lord Fell - American Amazon

Walking Dad - Cyborg

Zen_Gypsy - Captain Rogers

Voidrazor - Rebis

I will have a summary post up most likely tomorrow, with a nudge to get us going again. Thanks for the interest (and re-interest), this choice was actually pretty hard to make as the two characters that weren't chosen brought a inspiration to the table and the potential for good stories...

Well, at least when the team hits a strip club, it won't be awkward.

Could a Roll Call thread be started that has the existing PCs so they're all in one location?

Assuming I should wait to post IC until there is an indication that my character is present, right?

@Bladewind
I based a lot of my Wonder Woman build around "what makes sense," based on the cannon. The only thing I kept in terms of the mythology of the background was the basic notion of Amazons. Since it makes no sense for a society of women to be heterosexual, my Wonder Woman is not.

Another Easter Egg I incorporated into her background is that as a Navy Pilot, Diana flew a Stealth Fighter. Think about it.

@Bombaatu
If Horus can only communicate by yelling in bold orange text, Diana will have to request that he be reassigned. I'm not being glib, your post is really unpleasant on the eyes. I think that's part of what turned me off of your application (to be honest, I didn't like your new version much better) but I just can't put up with a whole campaign of your posting in that style.

Maybe try "a non-bold orange, size 125?" It would also be preferable if you used a normal format for his speech.

@Lord Fell
The idea was to convey that his voice is big and echo-y (yeah, not a word but it gets the idea across).

In deference I'll reserve the Big Booming Voice for when he's using the 'Vox Die' and keep 'normal' conversations to "Something like this" and his 'internal dialog' in this format. The post and Roll Call thread entries have been changed accordingly. I'm going to stick with orange for his color - the one you suggested was too hard on my eyes (ya win some, ya lose some...)

Lastly, what do you mean by 'a normal format'? His speech pattern?
