^_^ Not totally wrong. It just needed a bit more clarification as to what was thought and what was action. Just think of it as writing a story where you want to be sure the reader knows exactly what your characters are doing.

Assuming nobody decided to go their own way, the gameplan was for Red Ranger, Hex-Mistress, Woman-in-Black (and possibly Warp) to try to approach semi-stealthily while Thunderer and American Patriot approach more noisily to draw attention.

As of the last time of narration, Scarlet Crow was trailing us and may or may not have actually entered the building.

Warp's with Ranger, Hex and Woman in Black, Crow's shadowing Patriot and Thunderer (assuming I remember correctly).

I stand corrected. I'm guessing that we're just waiting on responses to our exploration? And Best in the World, do you plan on having Scarlet Crow introduce himself, or just lurk? :)

I was actually waiting on Femme to answer AP. If she hasn't by midnight, I'll go ahead and post.

The week of road trips has ended!

and what happened during today's appointment was really, really good. :) well, kind of... they did an assesment of my disablity and if i qualified for grants to fix my home up... and the good news was, Yes. Also found out that i qualify for alot of other aid programs for disabled vets as well (i can actually get a scooter for long trips out, soething i don't do because of how much it takes out of me to walk).

we'll give Femme till midnight EST before i make a plot moving post. :)

OK, I'm confused. Are we all in the vents? Are me and Warp somehwere one place rescuing kids and Red Ranger/Hex Mistress sneaking around in the vents elsewhere? I'm sorry I missed a lot, but I've read through this whole thing and I have no idea where everyone is. Sorry if i seem flaky :(

No vents. We're all going through hallways. You're with me, Warp, and Hex-Mistress while American Patriot and Thunderer (and secretly Scarlet Crow) make a lot of noise going down another set of hallways. The mention of vents was meant as a potential decoy against listeners.

I'll be posting in the morning. Sorry about missing making the post last night/this morning... the 2.5 hour car ride twice this week has really taken it out of me. :(

I really, really am happy with the news I got yesterday... just wishing the car ride didn't take it out of me. I physically feel like i went eighteen rounds with Geroge Foreman during his prime, and then went and did one of those last man standing fights with the entire WWE stable of wrestlers... and the entire time i wasn't allowed to hit back!

I really can't wait till they contact me about the delivery of a new mattress for the bed. If i'm lucky i can get one of those really sweet cushion tops. :D

And I still can't believe how fast i've gotten use to this c-pap machine, the ony downside has been that it scares the heck out of my neice AND my cat.

I'm running through a fairly severe one myself. Just post when you can. ^_^ Until then, I guess we assume that the Scarlet Crow is trailing us, leaving us mildly paranoid as we approach the scene.

Just to be sure I'm clear on things, everyone in the team knows the layout. We've had three people described as seeing the scene, Red Ranger, Warp, and Thunderer. I think Thunderer is with American Patriot, waiting to trigger the alarm (assuming that is still the plan). Could I get confirmation on where everyone thinks they are.

As far as I'm concerned, Red Ranger is by a doorway into the hall and has been slipping back and forward to pass on his observations.

Also, can we get an estimate on the size and layout of the hall for tactical considerations?

Able Team has Hex Mistress, Red Ranger, Warp and Woman-in-Black on it... and they're the only ones who have had a chance to see the crowd and their hostages, and definately have been the only ones who have gotten eyes on both the mercs and Albino twins. And as far as i can tell from reading posts... Red Ranger and Warp are the ones who've gotten their eyes on the hostages.

Bravo Team has American Patriot and Thunderer on it... with Scarlet Crow following behind. Thunderer is actually seeing what Woman-in-Black is broadcasting back to him, and expressing concern for Woman-in-Black since he can feel how she's feeling off.

American Patriot has asked that Hex Mistress, Red Ranger, Warp and Woman-in-Black find a place to hide so that they can't be seen when American Patriot and Thunderer starts throwing down he knows that when the people under the sway of Conquerer Worm II and Legria II, and several of their mercs.. go to deal with Bravo Team, that they will be looking for ANYONE who is out of place. Thus he wants them to get somewhere they can't be seen. And thus the defenders of the warren will just run past them... and give Able team the ability to rescue the kids. And possibly to allow for Able Team to expliot the sittatuion to capture the Albino Twins.

Because if enough of the crowd heads for Bravo Team... the Albino Twins will be vulernable to attack. American Patriot isn't saying this outright... because to him, it's an obvious decision to be made by the Able Team leader (Red Ranger) on site. since they know their situtation at that moment.

The area the crowd is in, is the schools large gym... located in a basement like structure. The ceiling is twenty feet off the stage platform where Conqueror Worm II is standing and, and thrity feet from the ground floor where the crowd is located. The children are located in the pit where the school band would be playing right infront of the stage. The mercs are standing on top of the 'stacked' bleechers. the only part of the bleechers that is pulled out as 'steps' are at the far wall towards the back of the Gym.

There are all kinds of OWS, Anarchno-Socialist banners on the back of the gym on either side of a massive mural painting of the original Conqueror Worm. Hanging underneath the feet of the mercs on the bleechers are banners with various anarchy symbols.

Hex Mistress is getting the mystical vibes coming from a stone that is embedded in the centre of the stage about ten feet behind where Conqueror Worm II is standing at a podeum speaking. The podeum has another mural of the origional Conqueror Worm surrounded by various anarchy symbols mixed with some arcane symbols as well.

A Arcane Lore check of DC10 (very easy) can tell that they are mixing in the real magic symbols with the fake ones that are popular by some of the 60s flower child 'age of aquarius' symbology... they don't realize that the rock that is on the stage is absorbing the energy form the crowd... and if those kids (innocent blood) is spilled, it MIGHT make the barriers already weakened, thin enough that something evil can acutally punch through and enter this world.

Note: I'm trying to find good exmaples of all the symbols that are being used. i use to have a bookmarked link to all the symbology that was used during the 60s communes and the like... but now i can't find the thing. :(

And the book I have that my mom gave me me is somewhere in a storage building about 20 miles from my apartment.

All Red Ranger needs to do is make a Bluff check of DC10 to slip into the crowd... and i'm gonna wait to post in the IC thread until Hex Mistress, Warp and WiB post their Stealth DC14 checks here...

^_^ Since we're out of combat, I say Xerxes Takes 10 for a total of 11 on his Bluff check.

OOC bit, are all of the players on-board with the current action and know what's going on?
