you strke a black beetle crab, and with enough force to knock it into the warring crabs

as a tactical update, there are now 7 Garthim advancing on you. as catsi just demonstrated, none of them are minions

Picasso was getting kind of annoyed at this uppity crab queen. That and platypus instincts telling him food shouldn't gloat So he fired a laser at one of the approaching Garthim

Unortunately, picasso's blast is deflected by the crab's sythe like claw

and moving faster than expected, the rest of the garthim crawl up along the walls at you all like monstrous cockroaches

okay, time for the rolling

on picasso - roll 9 + atk 6 = 15
on rhea - roll 11 + 6 = 17
on racheal - roll 5 + 6 = 11
on vakeel - roll 18 + 6 = 24
on cain - roll 7 + 6 = 13

DC 23 if any of those hit

edit: whoops, almost forgot the remaining 2. that's one on racheal for shooting the queen

roll 4 + atk 6 = 10

and one on vakeel for the smell of dead crab coming off of him

roll 1, take an hp for reroll: roll 9 + atk 6 = 15

Picasso ducks beneath the swinging claws and weaves through the myriad of spindly legs that supported the brute.

"Your mother was a Trilobite and your father was a jumbo shrimp!" Picasso taunted the garthim as kept out of the deadly claws reach. He doubted it would do much but he really wanted to take these arrogant crustaceans down a peg.

The claws merely snipped off a piece of fur over Tom's chest. In response, he roared in his attacker's face before pouncing, taking the beast down with his weight and strength before tearing into the thing with fangs and claws.

His posture made things clear, he wasn't just attacking a foe-he was eating living prey.

First one hits, second one misses.
Toughness save 1d20+7=23 No damage.
Attacking the garthim that hit him, 1d20+8=28. So that's DC 28 toughness. Lethal, since Tom's still pretty pissed.
