Racehl was on the ground from the sheer pain of this. She'd felt few things like this before. Even with the life she'd led, she could count the number of times something had put her down like this on her hands.

Cain Bennet

Slammed again by a massive wave of pain, Cain isn't sure he didn't lose consciousness. He didn't think it was possible to feel this much pain.

As he looks up, his body still trembling from the pain, he tries to say something but his lips won't move. He tries to reach out for help, but his arm is equally unresponsive.

As his vision started to clear, there were figures approaching him. He blinked his eyes several times trying to focus, but all he could make out was grey humanoid shapes.

Picasso struggled to see straight but from what he could tell he was better off than some of the others.

He stared for a moment at the Pink thing, getting the feeling he was seeing something that most males have great difficulty finding. At the same time looking at it made him feel somewhat uncomfortable, like it was something that conflicted with his kid friendly reputation. So he turned his attention to the Visitors.

"Um, Moo?" Picasso says shakily raising one of his flippers imitating the Visitor.

Still in leopard form, Tom was unable to put words to the pain he was feeling. Instead, he fell onto his side, yowling in anger and pain. When he got control of his legs again-and the rest of his body-these 'visitors' would have some answering to do.

the lead vistor turns to its bretheren, and speaking only in "Moo" begin arguing with each other, not only unsure what to make of a platypus, but a talking one at that until

"Moo," the leader says, adressing you again, but indicating it wants picasso down on the ground like racheal and Cain

Picasso gave a 'we can work this out peacefully gesture' and slowly lowered himself to the ground, but keeping his eyes focused on the Visitors. If a platypus confused them, and a talking one was completely unexpected, they'd never see his Laser vision coming. Hopefully they could establish some sort of peaceful communication before laser faces became necessary.

Picasso decided to try his best to establish some sort of peaceful communication despite the language barrier. He'd start by trying to gauge their motives for having him get on the ground and then try and start some sort of dialogue. Even if that relied heavily on Mooing.
Sense Motive:
1d20+8 → [5,8] = (13)

Diplomacy:
1d20+8 → [10,8] = (18)

the Visitors stare at you in silence as you speak, before finally the Leader moos to the others, and they all produce a stout club that looks rather like a baseball bat.

everyone may make a recovery check vs dazed/stunned

Arthur, Staaros, Catsi, you may make a surprise attack if you so wish

Picasso sighed, well he tried to reason with them. Laser face time it is.

Recovery vs dazed:
1d20+6 → [9,6] = (15)

Surprise laser face attack:
1d20+8 → [7,8] = (15)

Cain Bennet

The pain continues to rattle through his bones, leaving Cain completely incapacitated.

His mind was being intruded on, trampled down somehow. Which would be bad for anybody, but Tom's mind was strange, separated not into fractures, but multi-faceted. His mind and his nature were unusual. He wasn't a man-capable of deep-seated hate, sudden impulsiveness, and spite for spite's sake-nor was he a beast-dealing death with simple finality, not questioning the urge to kill but understanding that hunting and feasting were necessary.

He was something more than that, capable of both cold hate and ferocious rage. He was bagheera, a descendant of the Leopard of Panar, a killer of hundreds. His human mind might not have known what to do in a situation like this, but his predator side did. He had been attacked, challenged. There was only one proper response.

His form shifted and he went from his side to two feet, shirt shredding from his leopard-man form. Tom's head was thrown back as he roared-a sound that had not been heard in Colorado for decades as their mountain lions were slowly hunted to extinction. Here, a distant relative of theirs had returned, wroth.

His legs catapulted him through the air as he launched himself at the leader of these creatures, fangs piercing and claws tearing and slashing.

Will save to recover 1d20+7=20 If that's enough for Tom to act, he'll transform into hybrid form and move to attack the Leader.
1d20+8=19 If that hits, its DC 23. I'm gonna say Lethal because Tom's kind of suffering from his Temper complication.

that hits

roll 17 + TOU 5 = 22, that's a bruised

Picasso's eyeblast rips into the lead Visitor, and it stumbles back in pain

at the same time, the illusion about the creatures drops, reavealing all five of them to be exactly what Mr Hat described...

Crab People, hideous crablike monsters that walk like people

also, for no reason at all, this starts to play

take an HP arthur, because you finally got to do something cool

and roll 9 + tou 4 = 13

disabled

right before Vakeel tears the lead crab person to gooey bits. miraculously, its anguished cries mean its still alive, even as what's left of it are caught between your jaws

Recovery: 1d20+7=19

If that's enough to recover, Rachel will try to contain one of the visitors with an Ice Arrow: 1d20+9=29 So, yeah, DC 22 Reflex if that hits

Oh, and Init in case we need it: 1d20+6=10

Aqua-Current
HP: 3
Condition: Wave park

All fun and games until someone pulls out the clubs. Thats when Rhea made her move unleashing a wave of enormous size that passed over her allies heads and slammed down on the crab people sweeping them away.

Rhea will use her Water control to basically create a wave and rush it out and over the crab people and use it to dribble them off the ground a few times.

she should be able to avoid the others but if needed she can spend a Hp for selective.

Since its a general area attack id say its a reflex save DC 22 for the crabs to avoid getting swept up.

and just for fun thats 25 tons of water in a wave long enough to catch all the little crabbies
Dr. Silverback has wryly observed that this is like trying to teach lolcats about Shakespeare
