Aqua-Current

Rhea shrugged causally as she stripped down to that tight fitting blue bathing suit of hers without batting an eyelash at the cold temperatures.

"I should be fine." she shrugged as she stepped into the Chilled waters of the lake "unless it hasnt had a drop to drink in the last few days." she chuckled before her body took on its liquid form and she shot off into the depths.

Her ""eyes"' adjusted naturally to the low visibility and she swam along invisible to sight save as current of water as she searched around for anything out of the ordinariy.

No real search skill so shes gonna take 20 on her search and just cruise the length and bredth and depths of the lake preferrably without actualy peeing something off.

Picasso turned to the others "Right we should check the area for any sort of clues we can find. Since Rhea is looking at the lake, Rachel and Tom you might be able to pick up some sort of physical or supernatural sign of anything that's gone on around here. I'll give the area a check with my extra sense above and below the water see if there's anything worth noting. If we can't find anything we can always stake out the area, although whatever gets us out of here fastest is preferable."

"Yeah, I'm on it." Tom shifted into his full leopard form and began prowling around, searching and sniffing for anything unusual.

"I'll look around."

Rachel does what she can, but she's still a little off balance from the scene at the barn.

Tom, this place has been crawling with not only whatever the townsfolk are calling visitors, but you catch the scent of townsfolk as well, and while obscured by the falling snow, you find enough evidence of people being dragged here on a regular basis

Cain, you and picasso can detect something down in the waters... something big

in fact,...

everyone on the surface, will saves please

and Rhea, it takes some time, but you eventually find something... or rather, it finds you, a huge, massive pink... thing that's rising up from the depths directly at you, and doesn't seem to be slowing down...

Aqua-Current
HP: 2
Condition: uuuh Hi?

"hmm nothing, and nothing here, and a whole lot of bupkis here as well." she spoke to no one in particlar save maybe a trout or 2 that she passed. The giant crocofdile she thoguht she saw was nothing but a sunken car, and the "Flying saucer turned out to be a childs playground thingy that someone thought it would be a good idea to dump in the lake for some reason.

Yet another reason to flood the place before letting Rachel burn and salt it.

It was about that time that she ran into the "Pink slime???"

or more like it came after her.

came after.

her.

"Uuuuh Bye!" she waved with a cheery smile before shooting off backwards away from the "thing?"

Once she got some distance from the thing she turned on it and pointed a hand at it as her voice carried through the water. "Alright you I dont want any trouble but unless you can swim through an iceberg I'd suggest backing off."

As it got closer "Ice cube it is then."

Focusing on the water around her she reached out and encased the Pink thingy in a block of ice big enough to cover a building.

Shell use her Create Object to trap Pinky in a block of ice. thats a DC 22 reflex save for it, and the ice covers a 55 square feet cube which depending on how big this thing is should stop or slow it down a bit.

Actually, once you get out of its way, you can tell its heading directly for the surface, and that it resembles something like a jellyfish

EDIT: and take an HP, because while it was a good idea, the ice barely slows it down

Aqua-Current
HP: 3
Condition: Fudge!

Reaching out Rhea coalesced the waters of the lake into a massive block of ice which encased the enormous--mow that she was able to get a better look at it--Jelly fish??

stil she had it trapped now and they could study it at leisure later. She patted the ice and smirked "hah, gotcha, P's gonna be so proud of meeeeee....!!" she squeaked as the ice suddenly shattered and sent her watery form flipping and floping through the water from Pinkys enormour wake.

"Well fudge." she snorted in an unlady like fashion.

Note to self for future consideration; large things--like Pinky and burger titan--dont like being frozen solid.

turnign around she swam for the surface and followed pinky to where it was headed.

Cain feels it first, that crippling psionic scream that had overtaken him when you first entered the valley, followed by Racheal. only this time, it's much, much worse, no images flooding your minds, only PAIN

whatever you'd felt, you're almost certainly right on top of it, close enough that even those of you without telepathic abilities feel it burning into your skulls, but nowhere near as badly as them

Picasso and Vakeel are dazed, Cain and Racheal are stunned. the four of you take an HP each because i can't think of a reason why Aqua current wouldn't have been affected

then, mercifully, it ends, as a great pink-fleshed leviathan surfaces from beneath the lake, its true shape and mass concealed by the dark waters, that to your untrained eyes resembles... a an elusive part of the human female genetalia

Aqua-current, you surface to the side of the jellyfish, and see the others doubled over in pain

you get the impression of a voice about to speak in your minds, when you realize you are not alone

standing on the path from whence you came are five "Visitors", tall, gangly, and pale gray skinned aliens with large heads and wide eyes like polished ink, their surprise at finding you evident even on their strange features.

three of them are each dragging some sort of... alien bodybag, you guess. two of them are cow-sized, the third... smaller.

"Moo." the lead Vistor says slowly, raising one of its three fingered hand

Cain, Racheal, its hard to see or even move becase of the pain you felt, but while you can't see their true forms, you can see that these things aren't what they present themselves as

Aqua-Current

"Onmanohmanohman what do i do? What do i do?" rheas was fidgeting in the water next to pinky who suprisingly wasnt trying to eat her or consume her soul or anything.

Still the others were in pain even if she wasnt. But why? "Think Rhea! think!"She chastised herself.

Maybe the others all had special senses that interacted with Pinky in some fashion that she lacked. After all Tom had those werecreature senses, Cain was a low level telepath, Rachel could sense mystic phenomena, and Picasso had some animal senses beyond normal that was why the OX had affected him when he first saw it."

Awesome now she had an idea she just didnt know what to do about itm she didnt exactly speak pink slime... think think think AHAH!!

Maybe her liquid form could act as a conduit for Cains telepathy, after all it seemed to not affect anyone much while it was underwater maybe if Cain touched it "through" her, her liquid form could act as a filter and they could communicate. "YAY! I'm such a smarty pants." she thought as she stuck out an imaginary tongue since she was made of water.

"Allright Pinky" she offered her voice having that lyrical quality, as she patted the oversized jelly fish gently "I'm gonna get a friend to talk to you and see whats what why dont you go back under water for me ok? Pretty please?"

Sheehs Im talking to a giant pink jelly fish what a world. she snarked to herself as she slipped closer to shore only to see the "Visitors" appear.

Oh joy now things were just plain getting nutzo. Deciding to stay hidden for the moment she just stayed in her liquid form right at the surface where she was basicaly invisible and listened as best she could and waited to see how she could help.
