I think either way is workable - IMHO both are consistent with the genre - and maybe it's best that Gil just says what he prefers and those who are OK with it stay - assuming of course that Gil decides to continue the game.

For what it's worth, badpenny and I may not be in disagreement, depending on whether we mean the same thing by "team". I'm not thinking Fantastic Four / Avengers necessarily, but I *am* thinking "group of heroes who default to working together and are willing to adapt their way of doing things to be more or less consistent with the others".

By the way, this game is the first PBP I've ever been in that ran to completion of even a single story. Yay!

Yeah, that seems to be (sadly) a rare thing. Go us!

And thanks. :) I made Skylark protest a lot less than she ought to have done, in the interest of group cohesion. I think that, if Gilliam does decide to turn this into something longer, I might take her down a darker road where she ends up as one of the last few holdouts who still cling to four-color morality in a much harsher world and eventually end up suffering the consequences.

And I may change Skylark's build too. I think with PD covering the military end and Gun Girl as the combat prodigy, I'm going to make Sky a less specialized fighter (losing stuff like elusive target and improved critical) and hype up the gadgeteer angle a bit more, giving her Technology, Inventor and slightly improved devices/equipment. I just might change her main weapon from a sword to claws, too.

 Great ending! And that's the conclusion of our little adventure... :)

Thanks for running this, Gilliam. It was great fun. :D

I have been mulling over a couple of ideas and would like to try another adventure set a week or so later.

Let me know if you are still interested, Kenseido will not be returning so also let me know if you are happy with only 4 players (if everyone comes back) or should increase back to 5 or 6?

Finally if everyone is keen to go then the characters will have 152pp in total from the successful completion of the first adventure.

I think we should be fine with 4. Adding a few more later will give us some buffer if people disappear or have sudden pressing engagements, but 4 is a good start until we get more.

Yeah, sorry everyone. I did have an idea drafted out to replace Enforcer, but RL has reared its ugly head, and I need to spend more time on studying for a certification to get a promotion, so less gaming for me.

I would be up for continuing.

I think it would be better to have more players just in case anyone drops out, as is unfortunately common with PBP.

I also think it would be nice for some time to have passed since the first round. Maybe while we're waiting on new recruits, we could divide up into pairs or triads and narrate in a diceless way some of the things that have happened to us since the first adventure? I don't mind if we don't do this, though - it's just an idea.

Fantastic, let me know what you want to spend your extra points on and whether you want to modify your character as well (subject to approval).

You can repost here or send via PM.

Do you guys want a team vehicle? :)

I'm debating whether to buy the VTOL that Sky originally was supposed to have (it's basically the helicopter from the core book, with Concealment [visual, radar] (Passive -1) on it).

That sounds excellent, if it's a team vehicle I could chip in a point. We could get something a little nicer if we pool points.

I want everything Archie has. That's the archetypal Iron Age superhero craft for me.
