Spartan
HP: 0 Condition: -1 to Damage Saves

Spartan pumps his fist in the air and lets out a bellow. "F&$%!@g sweet, dudes! Nice work on that forcefield." He is still celebrating when a volley of energy bolts slam right into him. The young super hero shudders with the force of blows, but does not fall. He extends a finger towards his attacker, "Flip this bird, loser."

Spartan then slips down into a fighting stance with his spear held down across his body. He beckons with the hand aloft. "Bring it."

Toughness (1d20+5=23) Missed by 9. 2 Degrees of failure. HP to un-daze.
Taunt (1d20+5=10) Move action to demoralize.
HP reroll (1d20+5=7) Modified 17
Standard action is Defend.

L'Char
HP 1

A look of rage fills L'Char's face as he sees him attack his teammates. "It is you who will be losing foul being." At his words a particularly large battle axe appears in his hands and he hurls it at Dr. Zero.

Startle to feint as move action
Intimidation 1d20+12=30
With the minus 5 that's 25
Power attack for 3
1d20+2=6
HP for reroll
1d20+2=8
+10 makes that 18 DC 25

Marbl Knight
hp1

The Loose gravel flows through the air like water. JD pulls back his fist, stones swirling around it like an aura of grit and he punches forward, a vortex of rocks swirl toward the villain.

Blast 6, Multiattack. Precise Attack(Ranged, Cover)
attack (1d20+6=26)
a crit!
DC 21+5 +2 or 5 toughness(depending on his dodge)

Wildfire

Wildfire doesn't say anything to the aging villain. Instead he lets his fist do the talking. He slams his fist into the villain's face in an effort to take him out of the fight.

Flaming Fist attack = 1d20+6=17 DC21 toughness if that hits.

Déjè
HP: 1 (GM said so)
Condition: Fine - Act 3 Starting Up...

Nothing from this battle could have frustrated the illustionist than seeing a smart-alac villain sucker-punch her teammates.

With one somewhat-desperate-somewhat-fed-up plan in her mind, Déjè had the remaining illusions (of Marble Knight, Wildfire, L'Char, and Matrix, plus herself) "bodyguard" her friends. While that was in process, her "invisible" self carefully and gingerly crept towards the mad doctor, hoping to avoid her team's attacks as she tried to position herself behind Dr. Zero.

How far was I from him to start with? Please let me know when I'm behind him...or not.
If someone who usually boasts goes silent, RUN! It means that they are about to hit harder.

GM Post

With everything starting to go sideways for him, Dr. Zero merely ignores Spartan... perhaps proving that when the sticks and stones are coming in fast and furious, words just might not hurt a guy.

Perhaps he's more concerned about L'Char's battle-shout, which leaves him flat-footed for just long enough for L'Char to smash him with an energy axe. The axe crunches home, leaving a swathe of blacked, brittle looking metal.

Once L'Char has moved free, Marble Knight channels another torrent of jagged rubble at Dr. Zero. At the last second, Dr. Zero tears up his throne and uses it as a shield. The makeshift defense is not in quite the right place, and the shrapnel still plinks and scrapes against his arm and chasis.

Careful to avoid the cyborg Doctor's thrashing, and assorted incoming fire, Deje slips along the wall, until she finds herself in a safe place behind Dr. Zero. One of the hazards Deje had to navigate was the incoming mob of metal men.

Yes... Matrix discovers to his glee that the Com Bots are just not guileful enough to see through his ruse. The fact that Dr. Zero had just given them self-destruct orders only enforced the strength of his fast-talk. The Com Bots turn as a group, and clank their way towards Dr. Zero in a mob. While two of the enthusiastic robots tear the throne away from him, and proceed to beat it with their fists, two others grab at his arms, giving the fifth, last surviving Com Bot a decent shot at Dr. Zero's face... which connects.

Will vs. Spartan's demoralize (1d20+10=19)

Wildfire's attack will miss.

Will to resist L'Char's Intimidate (1d20+10=23) Fail by two decreases his Defense by two (for L'Char) making that a hit. Toughness vs. L'Char DC25 (1d20+10=23) -1 to Toughness

Toughness vs. Marble Knight, DC31 (1d20+9=12) Dr. Zero will burn his last VP. Dr. Zero, VP Reroll vs. Marble Knight (DC31) (1d20+9=18) Becomes a 28; -2 to Toughness now.

Deje moves behind Dr. Zero.

Com Bots; aiding each other assaulting Dr. Zero (1d20+5=23, 1d20+5=6, 1d20+5=23, 1d20+5=20, 1d20+5=11) One Hit and Two successful Aid Actions. Dr. Zero vs. Com Bots attack DC24 (1d20+8=23) Another -1.

GM Post

Dr. Zero is at -3 to Toughness, and fresh out of Villain Points

Dr. Zero is well hampered by the Com Bots. "You horrible little..."

He seems flustered and rather upset... and the robots are paying the price. "My very own minions..."

He is literally tearing them limb from limb. "Against me!!!" With that final shout, he finishes dismembering the last Com Bot, and "spikes" its head, much like a football.

Dr. Zero takes 10 to attack Minions, and will Power Attack for 2, Takedown 2:
Com Bots Toughness vs. Dr. Zero; DC27 (1d20+7=25, 1d20+7=17, 1d20+7=27, 1d20+7=21, 1d20+7=9)
One of them makes the save... but I want to tidy things up. GM Fiat to kill the meddlesome, toughness making Com Bot... the HP is going to Matrix, because he was controlling them.

Top of the round; you guys are up.

Spartan
HP: 0 Condition: -1 to Damage Saves, -5 Active Defense

"Oh, hell no! Dude did not just ignore me!" Spartan shakes his head and points at Dr. Zero. He sizes up distance across the room and the size of his target, squints his eyes, sticks his tongue out, and then Spartan lets fly. His gleaming spear hurtles across room accompanied by more of his dull wit. "Suck on that shaft, Doc. And don't diss the Spartan again."

Taunt (1d20+5=16) Move action to demoralize.
Spear Throw (1d20+6=17) All-Out Attack, Power Attack. Sigh. So reckless. DC 26 on a hit.

EDIT: Forgot that all Strength damage is linked to Move Object 6. Dr. Zero may be knocked back if Spartan's throw hits.

Totally missed him. I don't really feel like editing him back into the order, so I'll have him sit out a round... I'm gonna rule it's a issue of their being too many combatants around Dr. Zero already this round. I'll award Marble Knight an HP for the catch though.

Matrix
HP: 3
Condition: Fine

Matrix pumps his fist as he watches the bots turn on their master. Dr. Zero's fury makes the teen hero laugh. "You're a low-fi tool in a hi-fi world, Zero!"

Matrix spins around the room on his hoverboard and blasts a series of electrical bolts at the villain.

OOC wrote:Using electrical augmenter blast with multi-attack: 1d20+6=11

+10 makes the roll 26, DC 21 +2 for two degrees of success over defense and +5 for three degrees.

Two hp left.

Marble Knight
hp 0,now

Seeing their foe faltering JD presses the attack. He pulls back his sheild arm and thrusts it forward, completely uneeded as he is doing it all with his mind. His shield detaches from the vambrace and flies toward the foe, propelled to great speed by his geokinesis.

He rebounds it off a nearby wall to hit the villain again.

attack (1d20+6=8) uhg, reroll
rerolll (1d20+6=14) becomes a 24

and then Surges for another attack
Surge (1d20+6=20)
