Glancing over some things, Reika is the older sister's name. Rena is actually the name of Ryoko's Vulpix. Thought something was a little off there.

OOC I'll gladly help fight the Onix but in character Reuben is activating voice of reason powers.

Glancing back over the start of the massive battle at the garden, Terry expressed interest in catching one of the Sandshrew. Did he manage to get one? Curious about if Kaoru got anything either. Regardless, I'll try to have a post up some time later tonight.

Got a little busy with work which caused a secondary problem of not getting Krabby's build done. Hit a major wall though. With Shrinking rules in place, how in the world am I supposed to build up grab strength without burning a massive amount of points?

Strength limited to Grab? I don't know if you can slap the Flaw on Enhanced Strength. But you'd end up paying 1 PP for rank you want to increase Grab.

Wow, yeah, using the Normal Strength modifier is a huge waste of points. Shrinking 8 lowers you by 2 is all, which is 4 points to buy off. it costs 8! to gain Normal Strength. That really should be a 1 point modifier or something instead of 1/rank.

I would agree with the limited to lifting suggestion above. Any damage you would want to do with a vicegrip or while grabbing someone could be done by purchasing a damage power, which you'll get to alternate off of anyway. I think that's going to be the cheapest avenue.

What are the benefits of the skill tactics? Would I be able to gain an advantage or bonus to an attack and then transfer it through set-up?

It is more likely that you'd be able to estimate (get hints) about a person or pokemon's battle tactics.
