I just thought "Well that Sontaran is dead, so his ring is going to someone. Who should get it? One of the PC's? Hell no. One of the Brazillian supers? Nah. One of Buffy's people? Well why not?"

Honestly it had equal chance of going to Spike, Oz, Angel, Faith or Willow, its just that Spike was the first one he found.

Of those candidates, Spike is definitely the scariest. Angelous might have him beat, but with his soul, Angel loses to Spike. Even with a soul, Spike is much scarier. Oz isn't scary as much as bestial, and Faith isn't really scary either when she goes dark. Dark Willow is scary but she absorbed black magic to get there, and that has since been purged. Mostly.

That's my take on it anyway.

well, my first thought was Mars, bringer of War (by holst), which fits the sort of kirby-ish mix of mythic opera and power metal while being a nazi-influenced brutal tyrant, and my second thought was riders of doom (from conan)

I suppose there's always Imperial March

The first works. Riders of Doom kinda starts too slow for this, in my opinion.

Also: Fandango failed to mention that not all of the nobles he knows are mammalian, or humanoid, or even carbon based. And some of them may have... unorthodox courtship rituals. Result may vary.

Yeah, well Kreuzritter is basically just here to pick up his people. But once he found out there was a chance he could get some heroes to owe him a solid, he would be taking it.

And if you do take his offer, You are so going to steal the gem of Cytorak from its temple for him.
