Failure results in target being Dazed until the end of Apex' next round. (1d20+16=31). Second Standard Action, through Extra Effort, unarmed attack. All Out Attack (+5 Accuracy, -5 Active Defenses); Power Attack (-5 Accuracy, +5 Effect Value). Net Result (+0 Accuracy, +5 Effect Value (DC 32), -5 Active Defenses (Dodge -1, Parry 1) (1d20+8=20) If that hits, Free Action, Fast Grab. Applies same modifiers as Melee Attack, so nets +5 Effect Value for Grab Check. Strength or Dodge (at -5 due to Improved Hold) vs Escape DC of 27 (12 Strength, +5 Effect (Power Attack)).
