L'ombre notices a small wisp of smoke coming out of the reporter's ear, and Graft notices the same thing coming out of Feral's right ear.

Feral

Renewed by his 'defeat' of Sun Eagle, the animal-man attacks Graft in vigor. Wicked claws slash into the patchwork hero.

Power Attack (-5/+5): 30
Ouch! Another crit. DC30 save, Graft failed by 2 degrees. Either spend an HP to re-roll (and roll better), or change your actions, because Dazed means you can't move to Crag and attack.

Graft

Graft's attack missed the still nimble man-beast. The creature growled at him, his eyes clearly anticipating another 'kill.'

Scourge PMd me L'ombre's actions

L'ombre Noire
HP: 3 Cnd: -1 to future toughness saves

All the villains screamed... and some of the reporters... If they've got a psychic rapport or something, that could mean that these reporters are being mind controlled. Well... In that case, Diplomacy isn't an option. Annette smirked a bit. She was going to enjoy this. "Well, lady, my new friend just tipped your hand." She picked up the woman's head, by the hair, and smashed it into the ground.

Favorite environment to Defense: 16 Parry/Dodge
1d20+12=30 Power attack for 5; DC 23.
Extra effort to do it again: 1d20+12=18 HP (down to 3) to reroll 1d20+12=27

The young woman's head bounces hard off the ground, leaving her unconscious.

Toughness Save: 11 Three degrees of failure.

The crowd's reactions turn to hysteria and violence as many start running from the so-called heroes and others begin grabbing items to wield.

Crowd Initiative: 11
They won't go until next round.

Tank

The armored villian has had enough of playing tag with Savant. Boot rockets fires and the metal foe launches into the air 20 feet. Taking aim at the nimble Savant, he opens fire with concussion beams. The beams hit home, slamming hard into the hero.

Attack roll: 28
Crap! Another crit! IC can defintiely tell I am a GM and not a player. Increased effect. DC32 Toughness save, please.

Then Savant and Mr White is up. Sun Eagle is still incapacitated.

Savant
HP: 1 Cnd: Dazed and Injured

Jon looked up as Tank took to the air. The momentary hesitation was costly for Savant as the beam slams into hims before he can react. The impact clearly rattles the Savvy Savant. Outmatched and Outgunned, Jon dives for the nearset cover hoping to catch a breather.

Defensive Roll (1d20+5=22) That is TWO degrees of failure...UGhh. Dazed. Need to change dancing partners guys.

Shadow, failure by 10 is 3 degrees of failure, leaving you Staggered.

Not according to the chart in the back of M&M3e It says "Dazed -1 penalty"
1-5 is one degree, 6-10 is two,11-15 three etc.

I stand (or sit) corrected. Thanks for the catch H4H.

Mr. White HP: 2, Cond: Fatigued

White 'lept' into the air, at the epoch of his leap, silhouetted by the sun, he summoned forth his most devastating weapon; his Psyblade! He then brought the weapon down upon the largest of his foes.
ooc:
Free: Switch array to Psyblade
Move: Fly towards Crag
Std: Attack Crag 1d20+10=22 if hits DC 24 damage vs Will

Mr White

Mr White's blow lands "solidly" on the behemoth. The stone figure freezes up as his eyes go blank. He takes a small step backwards before falling down with a loud thud.

WILL save: 8.
There is the IC I know and love.

Crowd

Many of the onlookers gasp as the stone behemoth is felled with a single blow. Most of those thinking about turning to violence are too awe struck to continue. Others start making a hasty retreat from the field.

Crag and Esper are both incapacitated.

Feral

Feral ignores his fallen foe, is bent of drawing more blood from his re-animated opponent. His claws slash with a furry he has not shown, leaving him slightly exposed.

All Out, Power Attack (-2/+2/-5/+5) = 30
Two levels of Improved Crit means, you guessed it, another frickin crit. Who needs GM Fiat when IC is rolling like this? Toughness Save DC32, please.

Graft and L'ombre are up next.

Graft Toughness Save: 21
Graft is immune to critical hits, my bad. Toughness save 27.
It also means last round shouldn't have been a crit, meaning you wouldn't have been Dazed last turn.
Dazed, and another -1 Toughness. I'll blow off the Dazed to make up for last round.

Viscious claws tear through Grafts flesh leaving the hero wounded from the attack.

Assume Graft is holding. L'ombre is up.

Graft
HP: 0 Cnd: -2 Toughness

As he recoiled from the savage attack, Graft feigned weakness, hoping to draw his enemy in. Feral seemed hungry for blood, if he could lure him in for the kill he might be able to finish this once and for all.

Graft

The creature's bloodlust draws him easily into your trap. As your attack hammers down on the back of his head, he staggers a little from the blow. Though badly hurt, the creature still stands ready to strike you.

Insight: 9
Toughness Save: 16, Dazed and -1 Penalty
Since he is already Staggered, Dazed has no effect.

L'ombre is up.

L'ombre holds

Tank

Looking down at his fallen stone ally, Tank voices something that sounds like "luck kiss" and flies off at high speed.

Tank moves all out and is now out of combat.

Savant and Mr White are up. Only Feral remains.
