Sorry, Shadow, the time for pre-actions is past. That's why I took so long with the countdown.

There is a Take 20 in M&M, but it doesn't say you can do that with Stealth. Probably can allow something since you do have some extra time.

Singularity doesn't have anything pre-chaos to do. Not that I've thought up anyway. So you can skip his action this turn.

Is Graft staying outside the fence or going to do something this round?

Yep, Singularity will probably have to apologise to the team for breaking with the agreed upon plan. But he couldn't let the guards get blindsided completely, with their backs to the incoming danger. It could turn into a massacre.

Being in combat means you can't use Diplomacy without some feat like Distract, Fascinate or one of the abberants from Mecha and Manga.

Ah ... well ... could Badpenny use an HP to grab Comat Diplomacy? I think that is a feat.

EDIT:
This is probably what I was thinking of.

Beautiful Voice wrote:Your voice has a soothing quality that puts others at ease. Choose Diplomacy or a vocal Perform skill when acquiring this feat. You are subject to the normal guidelines for interaction skills, but you can use this feat during combat. Take a standard action and make an interaction skill check against your target’s opposing check (the same skill, Sense Motive, or Will save, whichever has the highest bonus). If you succeed, the target becomes amenable to talk things out rather than fight. Her attitude towards you doesn’t change, but at least she will hear you out if neither you nor any of your allies perform any hostile actions that round. The GM decides whether the target does listen, but she may resume combat whenever she wishes or whenever any of your allies performs any hostile action, and she may not be affected by your voice again in this encounter. You may take this feat more than once. Each time, it applies to a different applicable skill. Like all interaction skills, you can use Beautiful Voice on a group, but you must affect everyone in the group equally.

You might not want to allow it's use (either because you feel combat should occur, or a character would need to start with this kind of feat), or Badpenny may not want to employ it. It is an option, that's all.

Ah, crap, I just read the full text and it says you can't use it in combat either.

Blurgh. That's what I get for trying to multitask.

Okay, spend a Hero Point to acquire Distract. Can you Distract a whole group like you can Intimidate a whole group? If not, then who ever has the higher rank.

From one of the often overlooked pages in the book (I know I overlook it a lot of the time).

page 38 of Core Rule Book wrote:You can use interaction skills on groups of subjects at once, but only to achieve the same result for all.

Just Curious...My Stealth roll does not matter? I was trying to stay ABOVE and away from sight:

Flying silently up and over the remaining guard tower, Wraith positioned himself so he remained hidden from the guards.

Did they beat my Stealth Roll of 30? Or was it impossible to remain hidden? Because if I can avoid a direct confrontation, I would like to keep it that way.

Will post in the evening...heading to bed now.
