Since the groups wanted to stay in shouting range of each other, we can assume that the others heard the Beast's greeting/roar. Anyone who was present for the desert part can recognize the voice, especially since you're explicitly looking for the Beast.

So is Pacific Rim. You should watch that too.

That's surprising. I've heard only bad things about it.

I'd say go see it for the gorgeous visuals and sheer style of it alone. Add to that the good soundtrack, the great chemistry between the two main pilots and Idris Elba being three for three on supporting roles I've seen him in (although one of the movies was Prometheus...). In short: I liked it.

Yeah, Pacific Rim was a fun popcorn movie with cool special effects. It's basically an American version of giant mecha anime (though not as well executed, in my opinion).

I'll delay the response until we see what the ka-tet wants to do with their prisoner. I sidelined the matter to let Adrian respond but I shouldn't push it too much further or things won't make sense.

Oh, Prometheus...

Cracked.com wrote:Most popular works of art have some sort of message. Star Wars teaches us to fight the evil in ourselves in order to fight the evil outside ourselves; The Godfather warns us against the corrupting powers of greed; and Prometheus promotes the practice of running sideways if a tall object is falling on you.

Read more here.

That said, I did like Idris Elba in it. I also read something interesting discussing the symbolism of Prometheus: Prometheus Unbound - What the Movie was Actually About. It's worth checking out even if you didn't care for the movie.

Two and a half years after the game started, the gunslinger finally caught up with the Man in Black. 8)

You know, I didn't realize the rather interesting meaning of Brian's backstory until Myron brought the peace/death thing up. I guess Ka got a head start on me before my brain caught up to it.

Brian is up first, followed by Myron and then Owen.

Every player should make a Perception check when they enter the building. It might actually make sense to roll them all in advance of your turn just in case what you see shapes what you choose to do.
