Sorry, my other distractions kept me from posting and you guys got a little bit ahead of me. I didn't expect anyone to make it outside yet after I hinted at a portal inside of Moorcock's home.

Shame about Lord Fell. I hope he manages to find his way back soon.

As for the hint... well I thought it was just an inside joke ;}

Yes, it is indeed a shame about Lord Fell - particularly since we are about to enter the last chapter of the game. Hopefully he'll get inspired to hop back on the boards soon.

Whaa? Ah that. Homestretch? I can't believe it. What's next after this game ends?

I haven't been able to be as active as I'd like recently. As a result, I don't think it would be wise for me to plan anything immediately after this game is over. When I'm able to be on the boards 1-2 times a day, I can consider starting up another campaign. That said, right now I would be leaning toward one of three ideas:

1) Ardent Legacy: A sequel to my Heroes of the Past game, which was a neo-Silver game about Golden and Silver age heroes coming out of retirement to take back crime fighting from Modern/Iron age vigilantes and anti-heroes. I'm already running a neo-Silver game, so this option would be my least likely.

2) Something inspired by The Stuff of Legend: The Stuff of Legend is a comic about a boy who is dragged off by the Boogeyman into the Dark through his closet. Trying to rescue him, the boy's pet dog and a bunch of his toys follow. The Dark is a fantasy world like something out of Fables, but the cities and so on are often based off of children's board games and things like that. In the Dark, the toys are also different: a stuffed bear becomes a real bear, a jack in the box becomes a cunning jester-like swashbuckler, and so on.

The game would be lower PL, maybe 8.

3) Something pulpy: Following in the spirit of the Princess Bride or Tarsem Singh's the Fall, a sort of surreal game in a fantasy Earth. As a pulpy adventure, it would be stripped down to bare bones, with black and white morality, straight forward naming ("Cliffs of Insanity" or "the Evil Governor Odius").

Like this game, the pulp idea would be PL 7 or 8.

I may also consider finally doing a Silver age campaign set in the Soviet Union. But again, don't get too excited about any ideas yet. I'm not going to run another game until I'm certain that I can be on the boards 1-2 times a day every day. I haven't been able to do that in months and it wouldn't be fair to players to start a game that I can't support through proper GM commitment.

Man, the Fall was an awesome movie. Really surreal, but definetly awesome. :)

Yeah, I love the cinematography in it so much I can't express it. Tarsem Singh makes visual masterpieces like it's no one's business.

That said, I haven't seen Immortals since it didn't look like it was going to be all that great, plot-wise. I'm really picky with the movies and TV shows that I like (which you certainly know from my rants about disappointing movies and TV shows on Facebook).
