No, it's more along the lines of "will it scare the crap out of someone who's never seen real traffic before?"

The Brass Engine is relatively horse sized, but it can reconfigure itself. It can be as large as 10' across, and it weighs in at 3000 pounds, give or take.

Yes, it should make people like Jhondak, Myron, and Owen uncomfortable. With all of the things they've been through so far, though, I wouldn't expect any of the characters to panic.

They'll have a lot to take in, so they'll definitely be distracted.

Is it reasonable that the SUV can actually hold the Brass Engine? The thing can move at about 40mph, so I was thinking I might just "follow along behind" invisibly or otherwise.

I did some research: A full size SUV of some of the models in this year or last year have towing capacities of 9,600 or more lbs. So I think weight can be handled, the question is if it can make itself compact enough to fit in.

We're dealing with fictional science, so I wouldn't want to hold up the plot worrying about stuff like that. Assume it can fit and that the SUV can carry it while moving at a reasonable speed.

I will try to get up a post later but my keyboard dock died on me and I don't want to type out something extended with my on screen keys. I'll be looking for a new iPad keyboard dock but I don't know what my options are like in a smaller city like Darjeeling.

Fortunately, I found one. It was overpriced ($60), but I can post with ease now. I'm getting caught up on posts across my games as we speak...

You know, I was tempted to have Brian make a crack about the 'Men in Black' look, fully aware of how the ka-tet would interpret it. :D

Yeah, it probably wouldn't go over well even though none of them are from worlds/times recent enough to be afflicted with the scourge that was the MIB movie series.

Just double-checking, these are Tet agents waiting for us, right?
