I had a notion that the list of active games has a host of games that I don't recall seeing action in awhile, so I thought I'd do a bit of a snoop.
Brave New World - Brand New Day hasn't seen action since August 14th.
Bullets and Badlands hasn't seen any action since June 24th.
Crinoverse the Redeemers hasn't seen a post since May 31st.
Gotham Blue has been idle since July 6th.
Hell in a Handbasket hasn't seen a post since July 13th.
Island of the Dead was barely alive, and died on page 1; July 14th.
Mage York City has been inactive since June 26th
Marvel MH-1: Breeder Bombs failed to germinate on July 16th
Modern Age last saw a post July 24th
Myths and Musicals added "dead" to its thread title around June 24th
Pay Unto Evil stalled on page 1, back on June 6th
Scooterhawk's Silver Age Game has been dead since April 3rd
Tales of Asgard is all told, circa July 11th
Time of Crisis DEUX ran out of time, June 24th
Training Wheels morphed into Brave New World on July 17th.
Villain City tripped into the wood chipper on July 11th
Watchtower Sentinels ceased and desisted on June 11th
Disclaimer: I didn't check the OOC on those games, to make sure that there wasn't still some life to them. I figure if the IC hasn't seen a post in a month, then the game is dead.
Given the game is set in the Dr. Horrible universe right after the events of Sing Along Blog, I think it's more serial than parallel. I remember someone claiming that someone either claiming to be Joss or just seeming very similar commended the game. I only ever heard secondhand but, like I said, it's too juicy a rumor to not repeat.
