I'd like to join this game if you'd have me.

I am going to give the ones in the queue priority for 3 days. After that it will be wide open.

You might want to PM the others to let them know about the opening (or not as you choose). I just happened to stumble across the fact that you were in need of another player with preference for those who had applied before, but some of the others might not. I think I have too many irons in the fire at the moment to re-apply, but from reading through the story so far it looks like a lot of fun. Best of luck to you, and your players!

Are we considered paused for the recruiting time, or should we keep going?

The game is still going. We are still at a point where someone new can come in.

The priority window has passed. Generally characters that do not overlap current PCs will be preferred.

Niches to avoid

Hosea "Ace" Skaggs is an unpowered agent skill monkey

Agent Mizu "Shark" Fisher is a shark with tracking skills.

Gina Marie Vantas is a plain brute.

Jessica Dale(Moodring) is an emotion controller.

Got it.

Is Mizu still in? XeroKhan hasn't posting anything in a while...

Honestly, I have not been able to think of what to do next, and I have held everybody up too much. I am sorry about that, and thus I will withdraw from the game. I am sorry about not posting in who knows how long.

No worries Xerokhan. It is the nature of PbP and especially slower ones like this game. At this point, the three remaining active PCs are either at the lab heading to the stake out or staking out the warehouse.

I just saw you were recruiting again. I am still up for trying out my Splatter character. As an FYI, I haven't actually been following the game. Would that be a problem for me joining? If so, I can catch up. Also I recently purchased HeroLabs 2e package and have been slowly putting my 2e chars into HL portfolios. In doing so I discovered that my build was off by a couple power points so I have done a couple additions to the build. If you still want me in the game I'll post an updated sheet with the new tweaks.

Sure, you are still welcome. His entry is going to be as an emergency replacement, so not knowing the build up is fine.

Awesome! I have updated Splatters sheet. I had previously counted my skills wrong so I had 2 extra points left to spend. I added 2 things with the 2 points I had extra:
Luck 3 (Limited to re-rolls only) for 1 point since I figure limiting a Hero Point to just re-rolls is worth a 2 point limitation (if you disagree I'll drop this back down to 2) and Second Chance (Physical Area Attacks)

I can't speak for mrdent12, but given the most common usage of Hero Points is re-rolling, having an effective -2 Flaw there seems a bit excessive, kind of like taking a -2 Flaw on Enhanced Intelligence for it being "Limited to Knowledge checks". :)

I will look over the sheet when I get home, but I am going to say limiting to rerolls isn't much of a limitation as Fuzzy argued so it will say each luck costs one point.
