I saw it, but at this point the BSI scene is dependent on one of the PCs making move, which I was giving until Sunday for.

Yup. I was mainly waiting to see what Tom Duke or Shark did. If I don't see any movement from them Sunday I was going to just have the van drive off and move forward the CSI scene as well.

A couple of the threads seem to be lagging a bit, is everyone still interested? Should I reboot the game to a more straight forward action based one, or something else in between the current investigative type and action heavy?

I was going to comment that XeroKhan was still out, but it looks like he's posted for the last week.

I'm alright with the pacing. Part of the problem is that we wound up split up over at least three different locations: Ace at the warehouse, Gina, Mizu, and Duke at the bar, and Moodring at the lab. We have analysis of the drug indicating its likely fatality, and probably a chemical signature that we can match up against anything we seize. We have suspicious characters at the warehouse who we could bust up. *shrug* There are possibilities.

For that matter, Louis can always send on something to us through you. His card is his invisibility, so it would make sense that he's be just kind of off-screen, occasionally dropping tidbits.

I tried to make it so there would be a natural way for everyone to start coming together, but at the same time don't want to rail road anyone by saying "<X> heads back to the lab." or "You are given a mission plan to do <X>, Y>, and <Z> to acheive some objective" where x,y, and z are specific actions. Both of those feel a little too video gamey.

{nods} And I think your method is working overall. We've just had issues with being a bit tardy as players to respond. Play by Post can suffer from that. You might try dropping a PM to the players who haven't responded yet, letting them know that there are posts here and asking for their feedback.

And, in the case where you really need to get us all into one place, I don't mind you stating as much on the OOC board. Players can lack focus sometimes. :)

I am cool with the pace. It works well with the current demands on my time. My only concern was that I had a few games die out because no one posted in a week and a few players lost interest as a result.

Still interested. I'd guess the game might get a bit faster once the three threads align again.

But at least by splitting it up, the characters actually got to DO something other than wait.

Investigation is necessary so we know WHO to go beat up, and where to find them.

And to have the evidence necessary to keep them in prison where they belong ...

To speed things along and avoid continual posts that restate "You get to the location without issue.", if it is routine and there is no duress you can assume you get to where you are going.
