I changed the name of my stunt to 'Rope Tomb'.

Basically trying to think of a less flashy descriptor. But I didn't get the subtle feat on it (on purpose, her magic is flashy by nature) so I don't expect any real difference.

What is the range on the attack? My book isn't handy.As long as the range is 1 or more miles it will hit because of the crit and I will roll the saves tonight.

Max range is 100 feet times Power Rank by default. That's well under a mile.

Google says a mile is 5,280 feet. A rank 15 attack only has a maximum range of 2,400 feet (rank * 100ft = 1,500ft. Then another -2 attack per 100 feet beyond that to a maximum of -18, which is an additional 900 feet. Total 2,400ft). So I'm short.

Maybe if I bought some progression, but that feels so cheap. I am okay with a miss.

UP says max range is 100 feet * power rank, with a -2 for every range increment (10 feet * power rank).

You can still do the attack to look cool, but you don't need to worry about the fatigue.

Doesn't Shirin have a fast moving flying carpet? I wonder if she could use that to catch up to him.

It reminds me of the classic algebra problem, yes I am a math nerd. If Woozel leaves the station at t going 113 mph and Shirin leaves the station t + 30 seconds going 500 mph, how long will it take for Shirin to catch up to Woozel in seconds?

Or you could ask for a check (in 3e it'd be Athletics, 2e I think it'd be Acrobtics) with the DC taking into account Woozel's lead. Assuming their speed ranks are about the same. Otherwise it might be decreased if Shirin is faster. Then throw out a reasonable guess for how long it'd take her to catch up if she succeeded. The check partially being to see whether she'd reach him before he caused some trouble.

The math is fairly simple, but once I get a chance tonight I will probably just approximate it because I have worked out enough equations today.

Assuming Shirin flies to get in range, I am going to say it is one round for max range, one and a half for half max range, and two for closerange. In any of the cases, the workers will see Woozel get snared. It just depends on how much detail.
