Background:Bruce Banner was born in Kansas, to the noted nuclear physicist Dr. Brian Banner, and his wife Rebecca. Born early, and suffering from congenital heart condition, Rebecca withdrew from her husband to spend increasing amounts of time with her son. Dr. Banner, guilty over the fact that his own research and exposure to radioactive isotopes may have led to his son's condition, began to drink heavily. Due to his alcoholism, and his wife's withdrawal to spend time with Bruce, led to increasingly violent and aggressive behavior on Brian's part. When Bruce was 9 years old, his fathers increasingly abusive nature led to a confrontation between father and son, when Rebecca interfered on her son's behalf, she was back handed by Brian, fell, and broke her neck.

Bruce was taken to a Children's home in the town of Smallville, where he attended high school. He was a highly withdrawn, though intellectually gifted student, his teachers calling him a child prodigy. Despite his withdrawn nature, he became close friends with Lana Lang, and their friendship continued through out high school. Bruce's relationship with Lana influences him to follow her to Kansas State, where she studied Agricultural & Environmental Sciences, Bruce himself enrolled in much more theoretical Physics program, where he met with his intellectual rival, Lex Luthor.

During their time at Kansas State, Bruce and Lana grew much closer developing into a burgeoning romance. As they grew closer, their research began to blend, Bruce began to work on theorems to eliminate the harmful effects of hard radiation from biological and environmental systems, while Lana worked on ways to protect crops from both biological, and radioactive hazards. Lex Luthor, completing his post graduate doctorate, was intrigued by their research, as he saw military applications for Bruce's gamma research.

Eventually the theoretical work of Dr. Banner, Luthor and Lana drew the attention of the D.o.D., and so they were offered grant research funding, and an opportunity to work at a military base in New Mexico. With access to government equipment, and research facilities their ability to test their research was greatly accelerated. Culminating in the development of a gamma irradiation device, meant to release a low yield gamma dosage to a controlled environment. From the control & observation bunker, Banner noticed that a young teen had wandered into the test site, asking Luthor to delay countdown on the Gamma Device, Bruce rushed to a jeep to remove the young man from the test site.

Luthor, seeing an opportunity to eliminate Banner, and take his research for himself continued on with the countdown. Bruce, seeing the young man, pulled him into the jeep, and aimed the jeep for an emergency bunker, unfortunately he was unable to keep control of the vehicle and was tossed from the jeep, the youth stunned, only barely managed to keep the jeep on course and hit the emergency bunker, being flung over the hood and behind the safety of the lead infused concrete.

Dr. Banner was not so lucky. Banner was irradiated with highly charged radioactive particles. Due to an unknown genetic factor in his body, Banner was not killed by the radiation, which instead caused him to frequently transform into the vastly powerful, green-skinned, humanoid monster named "the Hulk".

As Lana wept for the loss of her lover, her father, the overseeing officer, General Sam Lane conferred with Luthor. With his keen intellect, he would be able to go over the data and determine how to capture Banner, and with the proper research see how to replicate the accident, and control the beasts so that the US Army would have a battalion of 'Hulks' as shock troops in any theater of war. It was this initial financing that allowed Lex Luthor to build Lexcorp up to what it is known as today.

Well, that would explain why Quasar's hanging around.. Someone's gotta keep an eye on that thing. ;P
Seriously though, If Praetorian and Quasar do both end up getting chosen, would you be OK with Q knowing about your true past? Seems to make sense what with the cosmic awareness and Q being the Protector of the Universe and whatnot. Would likely also make sense for Iron Man to know, since he just kinda.. knows everything.

On another note, most of the characters so far seem to be fairly at home with a cosmic-scale of power. Only fitting I suppose, since the lead-off event involves a cosmic anomaly. I'm just wondering how more 'down to earth' characters like Wolverine/Deathstroke are going to fit if it does end up going cosmic?

Honestly it makes no difference to me. I figure, and I need to get some more info before I write up his back story, that the combined Universe Big Guns (Justice League, Avengers, Fantastic Four, Green Lanterns and such) would know his origins, but the more solo heroes, or those not involved in the final assault on Darkseid wouldn't know.

So Thor, probably, Spider Man, Wolverine, not so much ...

I have a few build comments about praetorian, I hope you don't mind.
First off, that's a pretty effective combat beast. Regen, toughness shift, lotsa immunities.
Second, I'm presuming the impenetrable defenses is 5 points? (Adding 10 limited impervious to your pre-existing toughness), giving you Toughness 14 (10 impervious vs slashing/piercing)
'Pinnacle of Strength and power' feature: I'm assuming/hoping this doesn't apply to combat effects like Grab/Trip?

A few things regarding Distracting:
using Distracting on an already low-defense character doesn't seem like all that much of a limitation, but that's more of a personal preference I guess..
I would, however, say that it seems especially inconsequential on your Secrets of the Cosmos, considering everything in there seems like non-combat abilities anyways, and thus distracting seems like a non-issue. It's technically legit, but..

another note re distracting: since you have multiple powers that have it, I've noticed that many people rule that multiple applications of Vulnerable stack to make Defenseless - not sure if that's an official thing or just a common house rule, but it's something to ask neo about, so there's no mid-combat surprises.

Name: Mnut Nin Height 1,8 mts
Skin: Blue Weight 170 kg
Hair: Black Shape Atlantean
Eyes: Black Age: 44 years
Bio: Mnut was a deep(marvel) atlantean with an unormal connection to the water element. Most atlanteans could bend water to do their bidding. Mnut could control it like an extension of his body.
In reality, he was an interbreed among both atlantean people, conceived in secrecy.
He pledged loyalty to his lord Atuma, but the atrocities he'd have to commit to remain loyal to Atuma were just too big. He escaped and joined the Atlanteans from the upper seas, commanded by king Aquaman. It was hard to fit in, and it's always a cause of trust issues giving his appearance and the reputation of his people, however Mnut was trusted by Aquaman to remain a guardian of the seas.
Perhaps being raised by deep Atlanteans has left a mark on Mnut that will never go away completely, and that often surfaces when Mnut is angry of exposed to distressful situations, but generally, he has kept it under control. Aqualad has seen his outbursts and grew weary of their new ally.
After the Rift was discovered, Aquaman called Mnut to assist to a royal strategy meeting...

Complications
Temper : Stressful situations bring out the worst of Mnut
Reputation : Beeing a Deep Atlantean in appearance has given him bad reputation
Fish outside of the water : The surface is an even harsher world to fit in

That's correct, though I am still debating on leaving it as is, or making it against Energy only.

The 20 Point Immunity against Energy, now in my mind, though I am unsure about the rules, the Immunity is only against damage from a Broad Descriptor, Energy. Energy Effects, Dazzles, Solid Light Constraints, Afflictions and such would affect him, and be resisted normally. While the Half Effect immunity to Mental Effects is powerful, given his shifted Fortitude-Will saves, they aren't that effective. A PL 10 character with base 10 saves would have to roll a 10 or better to resist a PL 10 Perception range Will Effect, I'd have to roll a 9, so I don't see it as particularly unbalancing.

That being said, I am shifting some skills around, also the idea of the Secrets of the Cosmos is that he channels knowledge from the Omega Source. I can switch it to Unreliable (5 Rounds), my only wish is that that Neo would allow those 5 Rounds to cover an entire Out of Combat Scene, so I can craft some Mental Shields for the group as we go against Brainiac or something. The other reason I see the Sustained, and Unreliable as a disadvantage is that if Tony Stark went down, and I had to disarm a Doomsday device, a Daze or other effect would drop the sustained, meaning I would have to 're-connect' to the Omega Source for the knowledge to deactivate the device.

I am curious how long has passed since the Darkseid event, and the beginning of the campaign, so I can come up with something cool. Also, I may make less than a full roster have been present when Xavier offered to mind wipe me.

I'll get the build tweaked later this afternoon.

Yes, if you make yourself vulnerable or become vulnerable again after already being vulnerable, it turns into the next tier, meaning defenseless.

In regards to distracting, it's basically like focusing so much on something that you completely ignore your surrENERGY BLAST TO THE FACE!

You get the idea :)

I would be more comfortable with shifting it to unreliable. And yes, these 5 rounds cover an out of combat scene. If I am opening a can of worms here, though, please someone point this out to me.

It's been about 1 1/2 years since the Final Crisis passed. With the help of the many superheroes and -villains, the world has been rebuilt and everything seemed peachy.

I like it, it looks like a straight-up Iron Man build to me. I like the background. For ease of notation, you might note in his attributes that his STR of 12 is based on his armor. 0/12, if I read the sheet right.

Phoenix Saga, The brood, Starjammers, Imperial Guard, infinity guantlet saga, Secret Wars. Be it supernatural, mystical, alien or dealing with mutants, cyborgs, super soldiers, enhanced humans in origin Wolverine in various story arcs has dealt with alot.

I just used a merge universe background on Logan. Trimming some crap I don't like, putting in some twists and involving people in Weapon X that would lead to a more or less Xmen's greatest threat being Apocaplse and such.

Alright, I definitely have something now. Here it is:
Time: 2300 hours
Location: TOP SECRET

A man sitting in an interrogation room is twiddling his thumbs. His face is covered by a 5 o'clock shadow with a goatee. His prison clothes are somewhat torn up at the sleeves. His glare was sharp, and staring right in front of him as if he were looking at something.

The door opens and a large built woman strides in with a suitcase in her right hand. Her face is strong and intimidating to those not used to her. She places the suitcase in front of the prisoner and she takes a seat across from the man. "So, here we are again, aren't we? I bet you can guess why I am here." she said sternly as she began to open the suitcase. "Heh, I figured you'd want me in the Suicide Squad again, Amanda; and I'll tell you again: I'M NOT JOINING AGAIN!" the man said sternly, "Besides, I have my own plans to deal with." "Like what?" Amanda questioned. Apparently, the man was lying, and Amanda called his bluff. "Alright, maybe I don't have a plan, but I'll be out of here in no time. All I got to do is try to escape, that way, the guards can shoot me down and I will die in an phenominal fashion." Man man said as he leaned back into his seat and cross his arms across his chest.

"What if there was something ELSE you could do for me?" Amanda said once more. "Alright, I'll hear you out, but it had better be good. Otherwise, we are done here." the man said. Amanda then opened the suitcase and pulled out a file from inside the suitcase. "I'm sure you recognize Mr. Flagg Jr., for you attempted to kill him not too long ago, correct?" Amanda asked. "Sure, he was the one who tricked me into being trapped on Salvation. I had to get my revenge. Thus, when I returned, the world seemed to be recovering for some crisis that occurred, and I used that chance to get to him." the prisoner said as if he was proud of it. "Yet you failed because of- who was it again? Oh, I remember, it was a certain hero by the name of Spiderman, correct?" Amanda continued, "Anyway, Mr. Flagg has pressed charges, making you pay him EVERYTHING that you have. If you accept this mission, you will not only leave this prison scott-free earlier, but you will have what you owe to Mr. Flagg paid in full. All you need to do is sign up for what I have here in this file." Amanda concluded. Everything that was said was true, and the man had no choice but to accept. "Fine," he said, "But I want my items back as well as whatever items I wish for this."

"As I thought," Amanda said as she tossed the file in front of the man. "Inside the file are pictures from the Hubble Telescope. The images, as you can probably see, are of some strange anomaly that was not there before. It was taken around the time you returned to Earth to exact your 'revenge' on Mr. Flagg. As I speak, we are assembling a team to investigate this anomaly; however, another group of heroes has been sent up there to investigate and will return here in a few days. You are to assist the group you are assigned to. Are there any questions?" Amanda asked. The man gave a brief pause before saying, "Where do I sign?"

Amanda concluded with "That is all I needed to here, Deadshot."

I hoped you liked the intro. I cannot think of what to use with my 27ep. I'd use it to get a space shuttle, but it costs 28ep. Any suggestions?

I'd also like to note something: Deadshot, when he was returning to Earth from Salvation, was transported (with Bane and many other criminals on that world) not only through space, but through time, skipping the Final Crisis event in this Earth.

On another note, Deadshot has heard (and most likely encountered) all the other submitted heroes and most likely fought them in their past. I can think of multiple events, but (if I were to get in) would like to post how they last met, if it is alright.

What about Deathstroke/Taskmaster kind of idea for this one?
