3E Time of Crisis OOC

You're feeling nervous? This is my first attempt at an actual 3e campaign. My prior experience with 3e ended when my IRL ST accidentally killed off two thirds of the heroes with his first villain. Now I'm just hoping that I get into an actual long running game here tha doesn't last a single fight! Either way, I'm feeling rather confident, and am on edge about whether I will be picked or not...

Did the Scarab look ok build and character-wise?

Actually there was an imbalance in your active defenses (lower Parry than Dodge, and both under caps-with toughness 10 you want those at 10). Other than that, things look good.

Gladius has a few problems-undercapped on defense, more ranks of impervious than toughness, burst area rank 12 effect.

Most of it's an easy fix. I say raise Stamina to 8, give him protection 3, impervious 11, and fix the burst area. I'm assuming the shield others is a deflect effect, or maybe affects others protection. Like I said, easy.

got together the stats for one of Crescent's possible summons, an angelic being from a higher plane, who was once known as King Solomon the Wise when he was still human.

Alrighty, so it wasn't easy narrowing down the submissions, and ultimately I decided to go with 7 (partly because it was hard to just choose 6, also because experience has taught me its smart to have more players than you need in case one drops out not-that-unexpectedly.

I won't start the game probably for a day or two while I finish reading up on the builds in case there was something that missed before, or in case people want to make last minute changes.

Levinwurth, I think that's something you guys can discuss amongst yourselves. The first scene is easy enough to get a disparate group of heroes involved whether or not they're team mates. But if someone of you guys want your characters to have known each other in the past, or work together currently, that's up to you.

Looking over the character histories, the best fit for Fletch so far would be Rescue, since they were both in the military and both have been in Freedom City for a while.

I think it's a good idea for everyone to know someone else, or even two others.

I can see common points of Polymath with Legacy (both are scientists, both have mental abilities) and Warp (both have connections to the corporate / high-tech world). There's no reason he couldn't have connections with other heroes as well, those are just the ones that spring to mind. If the players of these or other characters would like to establish some common background, let me know here or via PM.
