Dan Christensen's art thread
Re: Dan Christensen's art thread
For anyone who is interested, I’ve just added some new items for sale on my Etsy store, including a couple copies of Red Hands, my first published graphic novel (it's in French), as well as some recent drawings from the blog (like the Moon Knight drawing I posted here on the Think Tank, among others). I will also be accepting a limited number of commissions over the next few weeks, so if you are looking for an original drawing of your character--or an already existing Marvel or DC character-- please send me an e-mail to inquire about prices and availability. All drawings are done on A4 bristol board and are shipped flat. Thanks for looking!
And thanks guerrillasuit, I'm glad you liked the drawing. I've been enjoying your art as well--those character templates are cool. Keep up the good work!

Re: Dan Christensen's art thread
I'd love to, but I confess my finanical situation doesn't really support the sheer volume of works I'd commission if I could - besides, I sometimes fear that my overly-technical description of requests would probably scare any artist off!

Thanks ambok!
Hope everyone had a nice Christmas. I've been away from the Think Tank for awhile, but I recently did some art for the new Cornered art blog. Here is my first contribution: Iron Man!

If you're interested, here is a link to the blog: http://corneredblog.blogspot.com/ They've put some great stuff up so far, with lots more to come!
Happy holidays!

To you as well Mister Christensen - the works you've posted are truly spiffing, by the way!

Yet another drawing for the CORNERED art blog: Alpha Flight!

Lots of great stuff going on at Cornered (http://corneredblog.blogspot.com/) . Yesterday's Uncanny X-Men corner by Calamity Jon Morris alone is worth the trip!

Re: Dan Christensen's art thread
Very fine work Mr Christensen, but might I ask why The Badger is depicted as wearing Red and Blue?
(Admittedly he's probably following in the tradition of Wolverine, I'm just not sure why he'd want to!).
Is he based on a sports team, rather than the animal itself?

Re: Dan Christensen's art thread
Libra- Here's the wikipedia answer to your question: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Badger_(comics)
I have to admit, though, the blue-and-red motif is a bit confusing, though... not many blue and red Badgers out there.
Flying Cobra- I couldn't have said it better myself. For some reason the link didn't work, though, so I posted it again (see above). Thanks!
Anyway, here's a new drawing that went up today on the CORNERED art blog:

Have a nice weekend, everyone.

Re: Dan Christensen's art thread
Thanks, Dan. For some reason the closing parenthesis was not getting caught by the url script... fixed mine, but you have the more official post, as it were.
Excellent art, by the way. I especially enjoy the Cornered stuff!

Thanks for the kind words, Flying Cobra. I'm glad you liked the drawings.
Here's my latest (and last... at least for awhile) drawing on the Cornered art blog: The Original X-Men!
