American Avenger, an American Icon gone roid rage from the super-steroids he takes to temporarily boost his strength, speed and endurance. Overtime, these have slowed his aging and he maintains residual strength speed and endurance without the pills, but the pills still give him the edge just when he needs it. Too bad he occasionally punches right through a crooks head - but so far not when any cameras are around and the scum deserves it any way, right? I mean who takes a lady's purse without expecting to die?

In Avalon, Galahad did not throw Excalibur into the lake. Instead, he gave in to the temptation, kept the legendary sword of Camelot, and drank from the Holy Grail so he could be immortal - he embarked on a number of tasks, including slaying the Green Knight and taking his armor. He imposed his rule upon Avalon until the day the mystical gate to our world and Avalon appeared again. He stepped through, and is now ready to take on and conquer the 21st Century to rule the world. Galahad the Black.

My Golden Age hero, Captain Tommy Steel.

He's a British engineer who built his own battle armour.

Had to do some funny editing with the feet and gun, only using Paint, my Photoshop is elsewhere. So please excuse that bit.

The white star was added to all Allied vehicles during the Normandy landings in 1944 to identify them as friends. Supposedly to prevent friendly fire incidents involving allied aircraft. It's just more commonly used as a US only symbol.

It was a case of there are a lot more Americans than anyone else so lets use a symbol they'll recognise I guess.
